That bugged me at first, but I liked that when Decpticons actually did show up, it was a pretty big deal and the power gap between the two groups was pretty evident.

That's probably the coolest thing about Animated, how the Autobots (at least Optimus' team) were so horribly outclassed by the Decepticons. It made room for some growth, especially towards the latter two seasons when they finally become more of a match for them.

Sari and her damned Mcguffin key though. I forgot how overused it became in the first season.

I remember the first time i saw who Sari actually was near the end, i stopped watching for a bit before that point so when i got back to watching it and she was like that my reaction was.

I think they realized it too, since it was toned down later on. :lol But relative to other shows of the same nature it wasn't bad, I guess.

Prime tried at least, but it tried to be more than it could hope for. You can't cram 30 years of lore into 3 seasons. It just can't be done.

Actually, Anaimated managed to do a pretty good job of it, as I'm discovering.

We lost Animated too soon. There was so much left to explore and Cartoon Network axed it because it wasn't random enough.

Seriously what is it with CN's suits and randomness? Adult Swim is even worse since it's INSULTING randomness. Why can't we have coherent plots again?

Because the Internet is random and the best way to get the audience that watches random is to be MORE random.

Yeah, if Burger Joint A wanted me to stop eating the burgers at Burger Joint B by selling even cheaper (in price and quality) burgers, I'd hold out for the Thai Palace up the street that's selling a really good Tom Yum.

And while Prime may not have been as good as the opening set it up to be, it's not as bad as some say it is. Yeah, the relic hunting got tedious, but I'd still rather watch Prime than any TF series from Japan.

Indeed. I quite enjoyed Prime for the darker story themes it went with.

Transformers: Prime has been my favorite Transformers cartoon since I watched the first episode.

Despite his lack of screen time, I really love Cliffjumper in Prime, also his 1st Edition toy is by far one of my most favorite transformers toys.

I liked Cliffjumper. It probably would have been better to kill him at the end of the first season instead of the first episode, but I think they handled that decision well enough.

I just wish for the return of Superion to Transformers media, be it in a cartoon or in the movies.

I think my biggest pet peeve with animated so far is how many times they reuse the troupe of Sari's key creating new cybernetic life, or the key being the instant solution/fix to the problems at hand.

There's also the fact that so many problems come from Sari's father be it directly or indirectly. For a show that seems to be keen on world building, I'm kind of surprised that his reputation isn't down the toilete by the end of the show.

I'm half way into Season 2 of Animated.

I forgot how awesome Season 1's finale was, I love how much it shattered and shook up the status quoe.

They really do make you feel sorry for Sari. Ultra Magnus being all god-like is pretty awesome, as is Sentinel getting a huge slap in the face from Karma.

I am near the end of young justice season 1 on Netflix and I cannot understand how it didn't go longer. I get it mostly had to do with toys not existing I think but that is no excuse. it was primed for action figures of the team plus the adult heroes like red tornado and batman. plus they could have done variants like their stealth and artic suits along with their base suits. plus superboy would of had his clone suit variant along with a wolf figure and the sphere/motorcycle. I mean the toys could have been endless, but sadly a great dc cartoon that was ended a season or 2 too short and no toys too be seen. I mean come on prime opportunity for a static figure and the different beatles.

Did you see Season 2 at all? There's a LOT that made fans jump ship there.

I saw some but not all. its been too long and I don't remember it all.

I actually really liked the second season.

I enjoyed Prime as well. It had some really cool characters and alot of really really good episodes like the zombie one.

My only big complaints with the show was how they handled the death of Dreadwing and what they did with Silas or Mech in general.

I do think season 2 was OK overall & I definitely miss Young Justice. But several fans were not in favor of the time-skip between seasons 1 and 2, along with changing focus from the established Team to a bunch of second-ringers who weren't nearly as interesting.

I love Jaime Reyes and all but the Superfriend stand-ins just didn't add much.

I guess I´m óne of the few that were completely fine with that. That way some of the more lesser known Teen Titans characters got their well deserved spotlight in one of the animated shows.

I just think static and blue beetle need to be on tv again. pretty much anything that shines light on other less known heroes. plus I liked the fact that it showed other heroes and them all older.

I thought that the time-skip was a good decision, personally. They handled it in a way that made the season engaging, especially with all of the clandestine storylines running throughout the show.

I really wish we got a third season, though.

Or at least a proper ending….

I waited two seasons to see that one character and I finally got him..nut nooo I never got to see him in action.

I could have used a bit more Ted Kord than we got, but Jaime was still awesome.

I thought the series had a decent ending. The Apokolips tease certainly made the show's cancellation all the more disappoinying, but I thought the ending was fine.

But that might be because I'm one of the three people who are fans of Spider-Man Unlimited.

I watched an episode of Fair Oddparents for the first time in years. It was kinda fun watching it again. Though I have to ask, why is Timmy tanned?

It was one where his dad goes back to school and takes a quiz show styled test. Timmy just seemed a little darker then I remembered. It could've been because I was watching the HD channel, but I don't think HD darkens things.

I just didn't like the time skip, and I still don't. I'm having a hard time getting into it. I don't find the new characters as interesting, the older characters I used to find interesting are no longer big players, while the older characters that are relevant (Superboy and Miss Martian) are just dull. After the revelation of Megan's true form they immediately moved the story 5 years forward, kind of killing it, while Superboy's tension with Supes was spontaneously fixed and now they're father and son or whatever.

The new heroes could be interesting, but by throwing a handful of new heroes at the same time with no time to establish them along with trying to keep the old characters' story and drama just makes it too clustered for me to really care anymore.

It's horrible about the series' cancellation just because girls were getting interested, really, and I hate CN's decision stemming because the audience wasn't 99% boys. But after a Season 1 marathon, I'm having a hard time even staying interested in season 2.

Why is it that whenever there's a power-failure at a supervillain prison, all of the physical security measures (e.g. manacles, barriers, etc.) are disabled? It seems a bit… dumb.
