Is beast morphers that bad ?

How would you guys react if they add the MMPR Power Rangers as a guest fighter in Injustice 3? They could be similar to how the TMNT worked in Injustice 2.

Guilty of the typical Neo-Saban, Post-Dino Charge Tropes: Interesting premise, but a hit-and-miss execution! Good for how it diverges from the source material... and bad for how it diverges from the source material!

It's pretty much why I'm having such a lovehate feelings for the franchise for now. I understand that it is a transitionary season and after Beast Morphers is where we will see the true Hasbro era, but I fear that they will retain everything from Beast Morphers and essentially just Neo-Saban again....... With some care.

Keep in mind it's not bad, there's a lot to like, but all the negative stuff of Neo-Saban remains: the general tone and feel that's trying too hard to emulate MMPR, having a Bulk and Skull type characters, as well as how it feels like a kindergarten show instead of all ages.

I know it's stupid since we're no longer the target audience, but in Space - RPM while being geared towards kids are still open to all ages to watch.

Knowing Power Rangers, it's obvious it will be Tommy Oliver only. Granted been a while since I played Injustice 2, so I need to see how TMNT works again.

But Saban standards still ruin the franchise.

Which is why I want the next series after Beast Morphers to be completely different in a good way

So far I liked RPM and am enjoying Timerangera. I want to watch Dinothunder next, I think the costumes look cool

Dino Thunder is a great legacy season, basically what MMPR should be in modern day. Also the 4th episode is possibly the best clip show of all time.

He's not a part of Hasbro, only as a consultant. Though I do hope he'll leave the franchise eventually. Plus pretty sure his 'consultance' just consist of "Make it like Mighty Morphin! Shove Go Go Power Rangers song in everything! You need to have Bulk and Skull! Give me more money even if I am a billionaire!"

I just found out that the fanbase now hates Blake Foster (Justin) for ripping on Nate (Beast Morphers Gold) for being, well, Nate. While I still have low opinion on Nate being a Ranger (not outright dislike or hate, mind you), it does make Blake Foster seem childish.

It's also because Blake wanted Justin to make a comeback and campaigned to be Beast Morphers Gold so that explains why he's jealous.

Yep, Justin was a really controversial character at the time. So it really took Blake Foster some balls to call out Nate...... And I just realized that the way I'm iffy about Nate could be the same as to why people hated Justin back in the day.

Kinda sucks that he was butthurt of all this. Pretty sure everyone wanted him to make a comback to see Justin as an adult and now it won't happen because the fanbase hates him.

Btw since I talked about how I have a love hate feelings for the franchise recently I went back to watch the older seasons starting from Zeo. It took In Space to reignite that love I had. In Space is frequently cited as the best season and it really shows why especially if you watched it right after the previous season.

I just hope Hasbro would make subsequent seasons to be like In Space - Time Force again. Not dark, just mature enough to be respectful to all audience but still being a kids show.

One of the best shows of that era was the '90s Spider-Man cartoon, originally on Fox Kids and now on Disney+! A little off-base, but hear me out.

It was definitely a kids show, but it had some mature aspects and dark themes while straddling a line with the censors, and to me at least, they seemed to work within the censors instead of fighting them! If the censors for the cartoon didn't allow those involved to mimic the comics precisely, then you find some creative way to work around it.

This is what the Rangerverse was good at doing back in the day, even during the Disney Era.

Neo-Saban belittled children and was too focused on straddling lines, be it with Nick or with how seasons were organized and numbered or with modern-day censors. They didn't focus on things that made that Spider-Man cartoon good: drama, character development, good writing, respectable plots, action that doesn't stray too far off course.

Hasbro hasn't actually struck out on their own yet, but time will tell if they can. I've seen what they have done recently, like with Transformers Cyberverse, and I am convinced that Hasbro knows how to craft a decent kids show and still work within the restrictions, making a season that appeals to all ages.

The bright hope with Hasbro is that they out effort in their shows. I do hope the next season would change completely, and maybe Hasbro is willing to pour out a lot more money. Maybe one day the show can go union again and we'll get well known voice actors to voice characters. Imagine Kevin Michael Richardson voicing Champ/Oushi Black or maybe, Johnny Yong Bosch as Balance/Tenbin Gold!

Would make sense have a season setting in Mirinoi ?

Wouldn't be surprised if the Kyuranger adaptation would have a Ranger from Mirinoi. Hell it would be awesome if they used Triforia, Aquitar and the likes as Power Rangers, I can already see Kajiki Yellow as someone from Aquitar, as an homage of first male yellow Ranger being from Aquitar.

I was expecting something in lines of lost galaxy zords in some similar season.

Does Saban tick you off to no end? Do you think that the franchise would do better without him involved? Are you tired of seeing his name on merchandise?

There are MANY reasons why people could care less about Saban, but he did start this franchise. Guess Hasbro truly does want to do something with this franchise!

Tears of joy. This must be celebrated. May the series after Beast Morphers evolve the franchise in a positive way.

Quality first and foremost. Idk how Hasbro will approach the franchise since it's live action, but part of me hopes that they will at least utilize well known voice actors. Nothing wrong with NZ/whoever they used (we did get the greats like Grumm, Koragg/Gosei and especially Steel whom I first cannot stand but he is my favorite character in the show), but I would love to see the likes of Laura Bailey, Josh Keaton, Yuri Lowenthal and especially Johnny Yong Bosch lend their voice to the franchise.

Saban has ruin a great franchise who's make him rich since Samurai season, i hope Hasbro improves the show better without him.

The show made him rich since MMPR. Also Hasbro needs to watch in Space - Time Force era to really know how to make a PR season.

Maybe I should just stop watching the show from now on considering that I'm very pessimistic about Beast Morphers.

I will hold-out! There are many things that have distressed me about what has happened behind the scenes over the years, but I will continue with this franchise despite that. There is ample reason for fans to be upset for one reason or another, but the only way the franchise can change is if we give some love. The past is nostalgic and there is much Hasbro can learn from it, but they also have to move forward as well.

Each fan has to judge what is good for them! Has Beast Morphers been precisely perfect? No! Could it have been far better? Absolutely! Was it unbearable? For me, it was somewhere in the middle. If I was part of the crew and knew what story I wanted to make with the Go-Busters footage available, would I make it different than Beast Morphers First Half as we know it? Again, absolutely!

Do I have some hope that perhaps the Second Half will surprise us? Almost always have with the Neo-Saban Era, and they rarely delivered with their "Super Seasons"! Will Beast Morphers Second Half be different? For one reason or another, I suspect "Yes"! Could Beast Morphers finally have a Season 2/"Super Season"/Second Half that actually delivers? I hold-out!

Not to sound rude, but yeah that's probably for the best. Based on other posts you've made around the boards, you seem have grown disinterested and dissatisfied with the franchise in general, so dropping would probably be best for you.

I think part of the reason I'm extremely pessimistic is because of Dino Supercharge. Remember when Dino Charge aired, we all loved it because it's a step in the right direction, and Supercharge went in and destroy it, and because of that I'm really, really concerned about Beast Morphers especially since we have season 2 which who knows, could be good, could be bad.

Also I saw all 25 series of Power Rangers on DVD before Beast Morphers.

That said PR has weak moments and things that nearly ruined it.

Dino Charge blew it with the finale and the Dinos were no longer extinct.

I still watch Power Rangers regularly. Not a super fan or anything.

Out of curiosity, as presented on the show(not talking about toys) which is the largest zord we have seen? I'm thinking somewhere between Pyramidas and SPD base/megazord. Maybe Lightspeed Rescues Supertrain Megazord?

The RPM Megazord combined from the 3 main Megazords. That one was pretty big.

Using a guide which gives images of the toys while giving the physical details as they relate to the fiction: Brachiosaurus from Abaranger (Brachiozord from Dino Thunder) apparently has an in-fiction height of 112 m!

I've seen Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel on DVD and am waiting for DVD to see Beast Morphers Part 1 (01 - 20) Any idea when that might release as they've started airing Part 2 (21 - 40)?
