So I tried Clannad, and I didn't really enjoy it. Honestly, I just couldn't get into it.

This transistory episodes are kinda hard to comment on. What we got of the match was really fun, but by the end of the episode the fight was only beginning, so there isn't really a lot to talk about and this is hardly the deepest show in the first place. |

I was watching the ending of season 1 of Sword art online, my brother was sitting with me.
When they made it out of the game and Kirito went looking for Asuna my brother just cracked a joke. "Hey can you imagine if she was one of those dudes who picks the opposite gender in Mmo's?" I know that canonically that makes no sense but it got me laughing. |

As far as I'm concerned until I hit the last episode, no one is safe! =p |

So I started watching Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai, aka Haganai.
And I'm actually enjoying it a lot, it's surprisingly funny, without being over the top or relying on gags. So yeah tons of fun... UNIVERSE!!! :lolol Currently on episode 5 btw. |
Boku..?

What an incredible match! I may not have cared about Mashiba, but he won me over with his fighting spirit, this was an all out war where both sides were pushed to their very limits and whenever it seemed Ippo was on top, Mashiba would overturn him through sheer willpower. It was just incredible. Wow this show is good. The fun part about this match is Ippo is the underdog as he has to be, given the genre this fits into but in reality what separates him apart from a lot of protagonists in similar shows is he is genuinely talented and good at what he does. He may not be refined, but unlike similar protagonists he doesn't win on guts alone but he isn't some prodigy who descended from the spirit boxer while containing the will of all boxers and the great demon boxer within him either, he wins because he trains hard and picks up actual skills and techniques. So to see him finally face someone as skilled and as full of guts as him was just incredible, a clash of titans. I'm actually quite happy Miyata lost as we got this wonderful match because of that. Can't wait for the next episode to see how all this ends! |
Haganai 7: Cellphones, just cellphones. :lolol

Well I'm done with Haganai... minus the ovas... and NEXT, but that's for another day. :lol
The ending greatly changed my opinion of the show. Originally I was gonna say that the humor was great, the characters fun even if not extraordinary and the attempts at establishing a overarching story counterproductive, but thankfully very limited and obvious. But 12 happened, and well it did what I love about the show, it didn't take itself too seriously, what if Sora is Yozora? Yes, seeing an old friend is great, but the truth is that Yozora and Kodaka have changed too much for that to be relevant. So overall it's a fun show that had me laughing most of the time and manages to tell a simple and realistic story. I quite liked it, even if I didn't expect to do so, heck I really enjoyed it to quote the opening: "Weird, I think I'm really into this" Definitely recommended if you want a fun show, that doesn't feel the need to change genres and get all dramatic halfways through. |
Just stared watching high school of the dead so fare episode 1was well good but panties shot ever 5 or 6 seconds apart but I am enjoying it so far on ep 2

This match was incredible right to the very end, the boxers gave their all and either one refused to go down. It didn't feel like a copout that Ippo won, as you could literally see both go beyond their very limits, if Mashiba's arm hadn't been damaged in the way it was, I reckon he would have won. I think Ippo really deserved rookie of the year, he actually tried for it, and didn't just get it because its his show. That is part of the reason why I love this series. |
Ep 6 of HSOTD was c
Good but what the hell is this leading in to a hentai |

It was cool to meet another Featherweight Champion, Sendo seems like a cool guy and a fierce boxer. His match with Takamura was really fun as well, I loved seeing the high level techniques and him going all out, we don't normally get to see that stuff as his fights are always so brief. Although the Takamura grabbing dicks in the shower gag is so weird, especially as it's recurring. |

This show is obsessed with dicks. Other than that, there is never a lot to say about these 'bridge' episodes, obviously the training and preparation for a match is important but it doesn't give you a lot to talk about. |
I watched the Black Rock Shooter OVA last night, because I've felt like buying the Figmas lately.
It was interesting. It wasn't what I expected, I think I liked it, but I'm not entirely sure. I liked a lot of things about it. I liked the art style in the alternate world, I like the designs of the characters, the fighting was neat. I liked the way the human story was told intercut with the action scenes. If it had been shown straight linear the character bits would definitely have dragged on and gotten very boring, but with it cutting back to the alt world every so often for a fight scene, seeing similarities in the characters to their human counterparts, kept me invested in the human scenes. But it explained absolutely nothing. At all. Who? Why? How? Not a thing is explained. None of the non-human characters are named, except BRS as the very last line, which I think actually was kinda dumb doing it at all. I only know the names due to researching the Figmas. Black Gold Saw we see in the very beginning, fighting BRS, and it looks like she stabs BRS, but nothing appears to come of it. We get a glance of Strength, for maybe two seconds, and she's just standing there, and then she is never seen again. It did leave me wanting more, so I'll be checking out the TV version in the very near future. It most definitely did NOT talk me out of buying the Figmas, so I'll probably start trying to pick them up on Mandarake soon. |

There was a lot more build up here, than match but Sendo is extremely badass, with a crazily unorthodox style. I'd still be more excited for this match if Ippo's hand wasn't shot though, he seemed to find himself more towards the end, but that only made Sendo more intense and push Ippo further into a corner. |
I remember back on the sky channel propeller when they had a block called anime network and they used show a lot of cool anime 2 of my fave where azamanga Dioh and paint ponny dash then so I was thinking of downloading them and watch them what do you guy think.

Persona Trinity Soul episode 1:
It was ok. Kind of weird, and it seems that the main protagonist doesn't get a traditional awakening this time, with the "Per...so...na!" I'm not really a fan of how they animated the Personas, being all translucent and stuff. I musch prefer them being solid like in persona 4: The Animation. |
Watched Nekomonogatari (Kuro) this morning and was very happy to see a proper return to form for the franchise after the rather poor Nisemonogatari.
Tsubasa isn't one of my favourite characters (but she isn't as bad as Nadeko) but she certainly has one of the more twisted back stories and it was great to see this properly fleshed about. The Meddlecat fan service aspect didn't feel at all forced which I liked, and it was great to Meme again. |
Watching Bleach, saw Toonami is showing FLCL again. Whatever, but then I heard this "One of the Greatest Anime series of all time!" ... Since when?
|
I have a friend who has been trying hard to get me to watch FLCL. And I don't really get the appeal.
