You picked the perfect ones to start with IMO. Especially with their Contract Monsters due out relatively soon. Priority to Ryuki and Knight so you have the Big Four.

I'm pretty sure Ryuga would come with DragBlacker. After all, the only thing they'd have to chance is the paint job, the insignia on the Advent deck, and change the artwork on the cards. Otherwise it'd be a straight up re-release of Ryuki. Personally I hope for a glowing eyes extra head.

Anyway, with the Survives coming at the end of the year my Ryuki wishlist for Figuarts is down to Odin, Alternative Zero, and Ryuga. Once I have those three and pick up Raia, I'll have my objective Ryuki completion.

Now that the Survives are coming and I've secured Genocider there's only a few left that I'd even want. Alternative Zero, Odin, Ryuga and their contract Monsters. Could care less if the others ever even get made :lol

WOw, my anime convention has the most disappointing dealer's room I have ever seen them have. I went in there with $500 and the only things I bought were the FIguarts Zero New World Luffy and Boa Hancock. No one has any other One Piece Figuarts and the only Kamen Riders there are ones I already own or had my comic shop order. Not to mention two of my favorite dealers are not even there this year, instead, they have an energy drink dealer.

Sounds like you had the reverse of what I've gone through with Animazement. Up till this year, there was almost nothing Tokusatsu related, and this year it was overflowing it.

That sucks...the only toku stuff at the convention I went to this past June were an overpriced Ryuki, and overpriced Knight, all the non-exclusive Gokaigers...again overpriced, an overpriced Fourze Driver, an overpriced Meteor Driver. Other than that there was one other table that had figuarts but nothing I was interested in. The only toku stuff I bought was an SHF Fourze and Machine Massigler

You should see the UK. All I've seen is the T&B Sky High Figuart and the Figurerise Cyclone Joker kit. Both around four times their retail price...

I'm fortunate enough to know a local anime figure store downtown that's carrying Blue Fin products, prices aren't that bad either. It's the same as buying online basically, since I'm friends with a guy that works there:p

Since I manage a comic shop that has Bluefin (via Diamond) as a distributor I can get pretty much any US Bluefin release at cost plus a small amount for bulk shipping with our regular orders :p

Eh, depends. Some stuff works out cheaper. Sure you might pay more for the postage but eBay sellers pretty much always mark the value down or mark it as a gift, which is ace as we don't get tax added or parcel forces charge added on. =]

And I have seen one big OOO statue in a shop in china town in London last year, and London is pretty far away from Nottingham =p

Ordering from Japan is reasonably priced (especially if you go SAL), but Bluefin's releases tend to cost a lot more to import (Amazon have a horrible import fee on toys) so I've held off on getting anything from them yet.

I was under the impression UK comic shops could order from Diamond(through their UK branch), and therefore possibly Bluefin. Not 100% sure it's for merchandise beyond comics. Might be worth asking, though.

They probably can, its just independent comic shops are few and far between. Forbidden Planet (a big comic chain store here) order through Diamond, but I'd rather just go through amiami than hassle about with them.

Well, just ordered a Kuuga Ultimate Form from a member over at TFW. In the end it turned out to be $4 more expensive then the cheapest Ultimate I found on eBay, but with a direct line to talk to the seller as opposed to eBay's backwards ass message system, I think the extra money to save me some grief was worth it.

I can't wait for him to arrive :D

Ive seen Ultimate on Mandarake for roughly $40. Is it going for a more than that on ebay? I actually wound up getting mine for 2500 yen plus shipping last week.

I got mine for $45 shipped.
There was one or two up on eBay that were a little cheaper, but the last time I settled for eBay because it was slightly cheaper I ended up getting bit in the ass (Think you need patience for SAL shipping? Try waiting two months >.>)

I have to reassess what I said. I guess one guy got in some more stuff before the dealer's room opened yesterday, as he had New World Chopper, Smoker, and Crocodile yesterday. I picked them up along with SDCC Gohan, all for $185. Crocodile is down right amazing.

I've owned Den-O Sword Form for a week now and man does he have personality. It's like they gave him extra side-to-side head movement when compared to other figuarts just so he can pull off cocky poses. I love the new ankle tilts, too. So much smoother.

It really is a great figure and I love how they handled the shoulder armor too.

Repaints and remolds? The only repaint would be Nega form.
Den-O in the series has modular armor, but the Figuart takes liberties so that it's not just taking Sword Form's back, placing it on the front, and calling it Axe Form.
If anyone, Wizard is gonna be the remold king.

The base body is still the same through out. Just like how the New Den-O Strike Form (Trilogy Version) body is the new base which G and Climax Form have. They share the same base body and are just remolds of Strike itself. Sword Form is a new base body that they'll use to remold into Axe, Gun, Rod, Wing and to a much lesser extent Plat. For Wing and Plat slight remolding is necessary but they are very close to easy repaints. Nega will be a straight up repaint so that's easy. And Liner will probably be based on this base body as well. There's remolding needed for all of them but the same base body will be used through out, so maybe repaint is the wrong word.

I get what you're saying, but I really think only the legs are similar.

Wizard, on the other hand, will be the same body except one face will be diagonal, while the other will be quadrilateral, 4 times over :p

Sure, they'd only have to redo the upper torso, but from what we've seen of Wizard's forms, I don't think he'll be quite as remolded as OOO was.

With Wizard I think, baring a major change with his final forms will just see sight re-moldings with his various style changes. I'll admit that suit has style to it.

*sigh* and it's only you, the way I go with main Riders is to get their base form, my favorite form, and maybe their final form. So I'll probably only pick up Sword and Axe
