The Hibiki episodes is actually one of the very very few times he remembered he can transform and used it to try and fight off a makamou. ... before promptly getting curbstomped into the ground, because this is how we're treating the Rider that started it all.

I liked a lot of the AR worlds honestly. I think I've said before that I enjoyed Kabuto and Kiva's AR Worlds better than their actual series; and to an extent the same goes for Hibiki.

For me Ryuki and Blade felt like they made best use of the AR gimmick/concept.

I probably liked the Faiz and Blade AR Worlds best. The whole Lucky Clover being the most popular kids in school thing was great. Of course, I like Faiz in general more than most I think. It's one I hear people rag on pretty often, like Kiva.

I do think Zi-O having ACTUAL cameos is definitely nicer than just seeing the suits again like in Decade. I know Decade had a few cameos, but Zi-O has done a lot better.

Maybe it's because I haven't seen Agito, but I'm a fan of that arc. Plus, doesn't it actually give Onodera something to do? It's been years since I've seen Decade, so I might be wrong.

Failing that, Hibiki and Blade are two strong ones. Ryuki is nice, but the lawyer gimmick just feels too... over the top. Not unusable, especially since we've done "Riders as a profession" already, both in Ex-Aid and the upcoming Zero One, but... eh, idk.

You're probably mixing it up with the Nega World, when three women turned out to be monsters he just ran away there. In the Hibiki World, he was watching the situation from the distance, but when Gyuki appeared he actually transformed to fight, but just got beaten up.

I doubt it. His problems are due to writing, not acting.

Yeah it does appear that the writers are the ones who wrote Onodera poorly.

That being said, Decade being a recurring character in Zi-O is basically what Onodera or Kuuga should have been in Decade. Although they're lucky Masahiro Inoue is willing to reprise his role multiple times in the series.

Miharu did say that Tsukuyomi and Geiz are from different time dimension, meaning there are also timelines in which sougo is not oma zi-o...

Tsukuyomi seems to come from an AR world where her and Schwartz's families rule, so her being in Zi-O's world in unnatural and messing with things.

Geiz, meanwhile, comes from the Oma Zi-O timeline, yes.

Presumably, there are timelines where Sougo won't be/isn't Oma Zi-O, but they all take intervention outside the normal flow of time, OR are seperate worlds entirely. Ie all the other Rider series which show a future, or White Woz's future.

That's my interpreation, anyway.

So, if episode 48 is the final fight with Oma Zi-O, any ideas as to what episode 49 will be?

Because I'm doubting the combined efforts of Chaser, Decade and Diend will do anything to Swartz.

The suit looks really nice, I'm surprised they managed to keep it mostly a secret even with the Tsukiyomi name being in the driver.

I guess they must have learned from the Trinity incident.

I like how the katakana forms a cresent moon considering that "Tsukiyomi-no-mikoto" (月読尊) is a moon goddess in Japanese Shinto mythology.

I think they were able to keep this a secret because they treated it as a joke form last year in the .5 episodes.

Forms like this are usually P-Bandai, even stuff like Cross-Z's base form was a P-Bandai exclusive as it only appeared in 3 episodes at that point

Who is the suit actor for Tsuku'? A man or a woman?

It's a female stunt actress, Natsumi Sano. It doesn't look like she has any notable tokusatsu credits from what I can see, but apparently she's actually been a stunt double for Tsukuyomi since episode 1, so that's kinda cool.

She has a stunt double yet still barely did anything all season...?

Anyway, it's a cool Rider design and I totally expect to see it in the inevitable V-Cinema specials too.

Tsukuyomi is a moon god, not a goddess. He's explicitly the brother of Amaterasu (the sun goddess).

Why do I have this feeling that Zi-O is going to pull a Decade and have the proper ending in the crossover movie.

I'm thinking that too, to be honest.

More or less the same height, though standing up straight next to each other might look a little odd. Other poses like jumping and crouching mitigates the difference nicely imo.

I doubt we'll get a Figure-Rise of Tsukiyomi, though.

Well, she was doing like, flips and stuff in episode 1 which is probably why they needed someone to fill in. Calling her a dedicated season-long stunt double may be a bit much (the episode page on the site only mentions episode 1), but at least for rare bits like that it was probably Sano or someone else filling in.

Toei had to answer to an ethics committee and attempt to deny that the show was related to the movie they were advertising right after its cliffhanger ending. They won't pull that again.

Everyone's just got it in their minds "Lol Zi-O's been Decade 2 all along" that people are tricking themselves into thinking that Zi-O is going to do that.

Besides like NeonZ said, Toei kinda got in trouble for the whole "Putting the ending to Decade in the Movie Wars" deal. Especially since every single shot from the Movie "Trailer" after Decade's final episode was just made to drum up hype and nothing more.

At most I'm expecting a very jam packed straightforward ending that leaves the room open for V-Cinema's and the next Crossover film.

I think the next V-Cinema is more likely for Geiz and Woz....

I was curious about that whole idea behind that "Trailer": Decade meets the "real" Decade, Natsumi seeks to kill Tsukasa, Kuuga is mad as a hatter, Narutaki reveals himself, etc.

And then when Movie Wars 2010 happened, that "Trailer" was relegated to Natsumi's dream!
