My pre-order still says $12 for Fire States, so I think they're honoring orders placed when it was at that price? Honestly, even if they bumped it up to the new $20 price, I'd be alright with it.

You can double-check your account to make sure it's at the original price. If you're worried, though, you can always screenshot that and file a complaint if they charge you more later.

Some of those figures really jumped, though. I think the Garren set went up $20 or $30! That's a pretty big adjustment!

I haven't jumped on any of these, but I can confirm that BBTS does honour the original price you pre-ordered at. The upcoming Neo Decadriver set went up a little after it was listed, and my pre-order is still at the original price.

Which I mean, makes sense; when you place an order or pre-order that's essentially setting the terms of a deal. You can't really change that without directly asking the customer

Quick question: are there any QC problems I need to know about the Figuarts releases of Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks, Jr.? I’ve wanted one of them for years and BBTS having a sale on them is making me salivate.

Don't know if it's just my luck, but all of mine have had loose legs. They use A LOT of die-cast in the feet, which might have to do with it.

I think most older SHF releases now have loose legs. My Mach and Eternal 1.0 had those same issues.

I got the original Double Cyclone Joker from 2010 when I started collecting in like 2015; it was sealed at the time and is still as solid today as any other Figuart I own.

So I assume used copies that are heavily played with maybe get loose over time, but sealed in box? Should be fine.

I truly wonder what he's gonna come with. I only noticed now that he doesn't have his 6-holster belt. If he's not gonna come much, hope he's like Naki at 6,600 yen. Also his eyes here are wayy more orange, it should inching towards gold.

But I really hope he comes with that 6-holster, his dodo swords and/or another shotgun. Just the few stuff he used in his brief time.

His dodo swords are practically guaranteed (then again, strange they didn’t show something so big) but I wouldn’t expect much more

I like to be pessimistic; I don’t even expect the swords to be honest.

The color of the eyes is a bit different from how they are in the show...eh, odd. It's probably just the lighting and the typical SHF thing where they make compound eyes more apparent than they actually are in the show.

Also a bit of a shame that he probably isn't going to come with an extra belt piece to accomodate for you know, his debut appearance. Then again, with the lack of detailing on the SHF Progrise Keys, that might look kinda bad.

Lighting I guess? The prototype on display looked different. And I assume it’s the exact same piece in both pictures.

Question for those who have them: do the Shinkenger Figuarts hold up to this day? I've always adored how they looked & have been tempted by them numerous times but never pulled the trigger. Are they worth it nowadays?

If you're willing to look at them as essentially stylized anime versions of them, then absolutely.

I'm pretty much 2/4 on the team. Naki, I'll hunt down in the aftermarket if they don't go up and Horobi's spot will probably just stay empty unless they do his Ark Scorpion.

Pre-ordered mine, I’m glad to have the entire gang together. Getting the swords is nice, I want to display mine with them.

I’m personally looking forward to grouping him, Horobi and Naki with Flying Falcon Jin. I really like Burning Falcon, but since it comes from the Shotriser-family of suits it clashes a bit with the Metsubojinrai.net Forceriser aesthetic IMO, I want all four to look more cohesive together and it never happened on the show, so I'm interested to see how well it will work on my shelf.
