What are some key differences between the original and reissue of Kamen Rider Kabuto?

Are you talking about the original Figuarts Kabuto versus the Shinkocchou Seihou? Or between the first and second releases of the latter?

I'm not aware of any differences between SS Kabuto between its original and subsequent releases.

The most dramatic difference between the two are the accurate proportions. The Shinkocchou Seihou is slightly larger, and some colors are more accurate. Heck, you can boil most of it down to accuracy. SS Kabuto also has some unique articulation like the movable pecs.

They're completely different figures. The first picture is a nine year old figure that's extremely dated, and the second is the first entry in Figuarts' premium sub-brand "Shinkocchou Seihou" that deals in highly detailed, better proportioned figures.

Early, at-the-time adequate product vs. the absolute cutting edge of modern technology in both cases.

The original Kabuto- the one on top- is superior in exactly two aspects: Affordability and Availability. The SS Kabuto- the one on the bottom- is superior in every other aspect.
Detailing? Check.
Paint? Check.
Proportions? Check.
Articulation? Check.
Suit/show-accuracy? CHECK.
