I was talking to my mom about Gundam today, and it dawned on me that there's one appeal about Gundam that I really see hasn't been talked about or publicly appreciated that much, and that is the space aspect.

I really really like the space aspect to Gundam, especially, U.C., which its conflict was founded upon. Not just to see the cool technology, but to see how humanity has matured and what sort of things space brings to the human experience.

Anyone agree with me?

I've seen the first episode of Iron Blooded Orphans, and I liked what I saw. It's been a while since I got into Gundam, so returning to it is pretty exciting. :)

It doesn't irritate me that it exists. What irritates me is that something so disgusting is popping up on a public forum like twitter.

Bought the HG God/Burning Gundam at NYCC last weekend. Put him together yesterday. Feels good to have my favorite Gundam back in my possession.
