Ugh, I am done with Rider Figuarts outside the Shinkocchou Seihou line. Kamen Rider Espada showed up today. In addition to the infuriating "you must manually switch the hand-backs" thing that plagues the entire line and the static cape, he came without the damned right sword-holding hand. I got a second right fist instead. So that pose on the package, where he's holding his sword in his right hand? He can't do that.

And since this was a web exclusive I got through a middleman, I'm SOL on replacing it. We deserve better than we've been getting from the main-line Rider figures for some time now, and for me, this is the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. They phoned in the Saber Figuarts, and I'm not willing to pay for another $80 figure for which they decided to take severe cost-cutting measures.

I would try to re-sell it as soon as possible while the resale value is high. Someone out there might be okay with the missing hand and you can break even with some luck.

Not sure if anybody is still looking for Shinkocchou Seihou Black for a reasonable price, but I decided to take a chance on eKnight media as I've never used them before and they had Black in stock for less than you could probably find him for on the secondary market.

Happy to say they shipped him out quickly and he's now here in my hands. So if anybody's looking for Black for under $100, I can definitely recommend them.

But do you live in the US? Bluefin has been consistently bringing over retail figures to places like Tokullectibles, BBTS, EE, SureThingToys, EKnightMedia. I've been saving myself the hassle of dealing with the JP sites and just wait for these US stores to put their listings up.

Knowing exactly when they go up is the issue; in addition to Bandai short stocking some retailers according to Tokullectibles.

I haven't ordered anything from AmiAmi in over a year out of solidarity after they screwed my friend out of hundreds of dollars.

They refused to ship my friend his order due to the pandemic and then the item went on sale for like 50% and wouldn't give him the difference. It was literally cheaper for him to buy the new item and ship it than go through with the original order.

I know the pandemic has been hard on everyone, but this is someone who has previously spent thousands of dollars every year on AmiAmi. They closed his account and took away all his points.

Nothing yet. I'm guessing that since #1 went up for pre-order last month and is being released in October; and Kuuga went up for pre-order this month and is being released in November; 01 will be go up for pre-order next month and release in December.

Buuut I could be seeing patterns in nothing and for all I know he'll go up on Wednesday or something
