Nah, it's more to do with the fact the price is printed quite clearly on the box. Size might make them choose to read it since its random, but pretty much any parcel over something like £25 can get customs.

What?! Splitting an order of two Figuarts is a terrible idea! Especially from AmiAmi, it will offer you absolutely no savings over a combined order.

Splitting orders makes most sense when you're either in a rush for a particular item and don't want to wait on later items to come in, or when you're bumped into SAL Parcel, a far more expensive and less efficient method compared to SAL Small Packet (what you'd pay for 1-2 Figuarts).

I've not been victim to customs yet, that seems to - oddly enough - usually just be on imported band merch. But this is my first combined order so who knows, what am I looking at being slammed with? I remember once the post office slip basically said 'customs was three quid but we added eight quid to that because we can'.

Total fyi...but if you want glowing Faiz, you will have to get that exclusive... normal Faiz (or any other figuarts presently) doesn't do anything under a black light...

Yeah it's the handling fee that's the kick in the teeth. Should you get hit I'd guess around £13? Give or take a bit but that's how it usually goes for me.

Yeah handling ends up practically doubling the shipping, which is normally why a seemingly cheap deal on Amazon US suddenly seems less so when shipping, handling and tax have all been calculated.

BTW, I forgot to mention that the guy at the Bluefin booth last weekend said they are in talks with Bandai about getting US exclusive accessories similar to how Japan gets exclusive AkibaRanger ones.

I really really hope I can score on of those Faiz sets. I'd rather get that one at this point since I never picked up standard Faiz :p
