Century King Shadow Moon

Kamen Rider Kuuga


Shadow Moon:
  • Wears the KingStone belt, which holds his "Stone of the Moon"
  • Wields the Satan Sabre, a long powerful sword
  • Wields the Shadow Sabers, twin long swords
  • Can utilize the same attacks as Black
  • Seen in Kamen Rider World, Shadow Moon can grow to giant size

Kuuga:
  • Wears the Arcle, giving him access to 14 different forms. The belt also has fused with him, making it impossible to remove from him without killing him.
  • His 4 standard forms are Mighty, Dragon, Pegasus and Titan.
  • Mighty is a balanced fighter.
  • Dragon is an azure form that allows Kuuga to be more agile and quicker, although his physical strength is lower than Mighty Form, Dragon Form enables Kuuga to and jump quickly in order to pursue the enemy. However, it also gives Kuuga less protection, yet being better suited for quick movements and more jump power. To make up for the lack of strength, he uses the Dragon Rod staff as his weapon, created by using any pole or stick-like object to manifest it. His finishing move in this form is Splash Dragon, an aerial thrust attack to the torso.
  • Pegasus is a green shooting form where Kuuga's senses are heightened to extreme, superhuman levels, enabling him to see, hit and hear his opponents with deadly precision. It also allows Kuuga to detect the enemy's position, despite whatever ability they may have to avoid detection. The downside to this is that it can not be sustained for too long because of the enormous strain placed on the nervous system from over stimulation (only 50 seconds), and if Kuuga exceeds this limit, he shall be knocked back into Growing Form and become unable to transform for two hours. Kuuga uses the Pegasus Bowgun- a crossbow/gun hybrid weapon that can be created out of any gun-like object, commonly Ichijo's hand gun. His finishing move with the bow gun is "Blast Pegasus", an arrow shot from the bowgun after pulling the hammer back to the fullest length.
  • Titan is a purple herculean form where his defense is greatly increased, allowing him to withstand most of his opponents' attacks long enough to get in close range, despite sacrificing speed. This form has much larger armor that is mainly silver with large purple trims. Although this armor provides superior protection, it still leaves parts of his body exposed, thus making him still suspectible to damage. He uses the Titan Sword that can be created out of pole or stick-like objects, normally the control handle of his bike. His finishing move is "Calamity Titan", a powerful sword thrust wherein Kuuga twists the blade as it is impaled.
  • Each of those forms can be further enhanced into Rising forms, adding golden trim and enhancing their weapons.
  • Can turn into Amazing Mighty Form, giving him a lot more power.
  • Most Powerful Form: Ultimate.
  • His most dangerous form, Ultimate Form combines all the powers of the other forms, Ultmate Kuuga has a much different design colored black with gold (and a little silver) trims all over his body, as well as having five horns on the headcrest, a black belt core and spiky-looking armor. Originally a risk is that the user would lose control and become like Daguba, a monster bent on killing everything in its way. However, due to Godai's gentle nature, he retains his will as he uses the new form against Daguba, retaining the red eye color of Mighty Form as opposed to the original black eyed color. When in battle, Ultimate Kuuga is able to see a monster's human form, every single attack from Kuuga Ultimate causes his opponent to bleed, despite the enemy's powerful armor.
    This form can also utilize the same powers as Daguba including Pyrokinesis.
  • Is assisted by the Gouram, which can combine with his motorcycle, the BeatChaser 2000, which can become the BeatGouram. The Gouram can attack opponents too.

Shadow Moon vs Kuuga? I don't see how this is close. Oh the fight will be, Shadow Moon will definately give Kuuga a couple scares. But then Kuuga will beat Moon into the ground so hard his kids'll be born bruised.

But yeah, no way in hell this doesn't go to Kuuga. And just in case anyone wants to bring up the same movie from the Decade vs. Shadow Moon thread, that wasn't the real Kuuga. That was some dumb kid who had no idea how to really make use of the Kuuga powers.

The worst thing I ever did with my Dengasher was swing it like a baseball bat in Rod Form in a hotel room, but because of how much power I put into the swing, the top 3 pieces went flying into the TV. Luckily the TV was safe :lol (this was like right before I left Japan)

Kiva:
  • Able to perform the Darkness Moon Break, a rider kick that shifts day to night*
  • Garulu Form is Kiva's form accessed from the Garulu Fuestle and being energized by the Garulu Saber. In this form, the Omnilens and Kiva's chest/left arm armor turn a shade of blue called Garulu Cobalt which places Kiva under the influence of Garulu. This form's power is linked to the phases of the moon, and is at its peak when the moon is full. The Garulu Form is capable of manipulating sound, has increased speed and cunning due to the form's animalistic ferocity and is able to perform the Garulu Howling Slash. When it is performed, day turns to night and a full moon appears in the sky, as it references a human's transformation into a werewolf. Its motif is that of a werewolf.
  • Basshaa Form is Kiva's form accessed from the Basshaa Fuestle and granting him access to the Basshaa Magnum. In this form, the Omnilens and Kiva's chest/right arm armor turn a shade of green called Basshaa Emerald which places Kiva under the influence of Basshaa. While in this state, Kiva loses most of his strength and ability, but gains a mastery of long range combat and is able to analyze an opponent's weak point to target with accurate marksmanship. Basshaa Form can also manipulate water, able to create rain as well as a pool of water necessary to perform the Basshaa Aqua Tornado. When it is performed, day turns to night and a half moon forms in the sky, as it references the change ebb and flow of the tides during its phase. Its motif is that of the Gill-man.
  • Dogga Form is Kiva's form accessed from the Dogga Fuestle and granting him access to the massive Dogga Hammer. In this form, Kiva's entire upper body gains bulky armor and the Omnilens turn a shade of violet called Dogga Purple, under Dogga's influence. In this form, Kiva loses most of his speed but gains unbelievable strength, able to overpower a Fangire easily. Dogga Form is able to manipulate electricity, using it as part of his finisher, the Dogga Thunder Slap. The Dogga Hammer can see through the invisibility of Fangires. When it is performed, day turns to night while a hazy moon and thunderbolt form in the sky, the latter referencing its motif of Frankenstein's monster and how it was brought to life.
  • DoGaBaKi Form, shortened from "Dogga/Garulu/Basshaa/Kiva Form", is Kiva's rarely seen form accessed by the summoning of all three Arms Monsters. In this form, Kiva's left arm turns into the Garulu Arm, his right arm turns into the Basshaa Arm, and his upper body turns into the Dogga Breast. In this form, Kiva can use all three Arms Monster weapons at once and execute the Darkness Moon Break finisher. However, due to the danger it presents to Kiva and the Arms Monsters, Kiva can only assume this form for five minutes before its power becomes lethal.
  • Can attach the Buroon Booster to his motorcycle, allowing it to increase speed.
  • Can summon the Castle Doran and Shoodoran, dragons to aid him in battle.
  • Most Powerful Form: Emperor Form
  • Emperor Form is the true form of Kiva referred to as the Golden Kiva and the most powerful form at Wataru's disposal. The fifth form accessed, the first emergence of Emperor Form comes from the reaction to Wataru's rage from the harm coming to Mio, his girlfriend, which summons Tatsulot to awaken the form. By pulling the switch on Tatsulot, Wataru can activate Tatsulot's Imperial Slot and activate one of several "Fever" finishing attacks through a roulette system. With this form, Kiva can destroy both the body and the soul of a Fangire. Soon after gaining this form, Wataru gradually abandoned the use of his other forms. It was revealed in episode 43 that the Fangire Form of Wataru is the Kiva Emperor.
  • Resulting from infusing his own desire into the Bloody Rose, Wataru's Fangire nature is triggered as Kiva transforms from Emperor Form into Flight Style, a dragon-like form called the Emperor Bat which is similar to the Fangires' ability to become Sabbats. In Kamen Rider Kiva: King of the Castle in the Demon World, Arc forces Wataru to assume the form in an attempt to kill his father, Otoya Kurenai, only for Wataru to access Flight Style later to defeat him. Flight Style uses the blades on its wings called the Sonic Claws to perform the Demon Pliers attack and breathes the Hell's Flame from its Big Jaw. These abilities come into play for its finishing attack, the Bloody Strike.
  • The Demon Imperial Sword Zanvat Sword was a sword of great power crafted and used by the previous King until he tossed the weapon into Castle Doran's wall. By 2008, after sensing the power of Wataru as he evokes Kiva's Flight Style, the sword forced itself out of Castle Doran's walls. The Zanvat Sword is soon after modified with a living hilt named Zanvat-bat, called "Zanvat" for short, who was created from the Life Energies of the Arms Monsters to control the unstable powers of the blade from evoking Wataru's Fangire blood. Though Wataru is accepted as an ideal user, he has yet to fully master the Zanvat Sword's true power. When used by Kiva in Emperor form, its finishing attack is the Final Zanvat Slash where Kiva's power is focused into the Imperial Blade.The attack is powerful enough to destroy giant monsters such as Sabbats and even a Mother Sagarc.

Den-O:
  • Has 9 different forms, each with their own skills
  • Wields the Den-Gasher, a weapon with multiple weapon configurations
  • Can travel through time with the DenLiner, which has multiple powers in each train car.
  • Sword Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's first (and most common) form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Momotaros. In Sword Form, he uses the DenGasher as a standard sword-style weapon. Sword Form is the most balanced of all his forms, possibly because of Momotaros' prominence among the other Imagin. Momotaros himself once assumed Sword Form during the events of "Final Countdown" to battle Kamen Rider Yuuki. Every so often, Momotaros will develop a new Finishing Attack that he uses to finish off Imagin, and has developed Parts 1, 2, 2' (2-dash), 3, 5, Special Version (used in "I'm Born!"), and the Imagin-assisted Final Version, although parts 2, 3, and 5 are essentially identical. Special Version is nearly identical to 2, 3, and 5, but uses a double Full Charge and only strikes the enemy on the rebound, while Final Version is an extended attack that uses the energy of the other Taros, Sieg, and Zeronos. Sword Form also has a triple roundhouse Rider Kick that Momotaros refers to as his "Super Finishing Attack."
  • Rod Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's second form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Urataros. In Rod Form, the DenGasher is transformed into a rod-style weapon. Rod Form gains the ability to move and breathe underwater, increased protection, and increased kicking power. But as a drawback, he loses physical strength and jumping height. Urataros himself assumed this form when he borrowed Ryotaro's Belt to fight off the Mole Imagin he tricked, and again during "Final Countdown" to fight the army of revived Imagin. This form is one of the least used of Den-O's forms, as Urataros rarely fights. However, whenever a fight occurs in the proximity of water, or if the other Imagin are unable to fight, Urataros will assist with his fishing skills. Rod Form is also one of two forms that uses a Rider Kick as part of its standard finisher, pinning the enemy with the rod as a harpoon before executing a flying side kick.
  • Axe Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's third form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Kintaros. In Axe Form, the DenGasher is transformed into an axe for short, close ranged attacks. Axe Form gains increased strength and defense, but as a result suffers with less speed and kicking power. This form is the physically strongest of the Den-O forms, due to Kintaros's own brute strength. Kintaros himself assumes this form by using the Den-O Belt to help Ryotaro fend off an army of Imagin in the past, and again during "Final Countdown" to fight off the army of revived Imagin. Kintaros tends to fight as Ax Form whenever he senses crying or he hears someone near Ryotaro say anything resembling the Japanese word for "cry.”
  • Gun Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's fourth form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Ryutaros. In Gun Form, the DenGasher is transformed into a gun for short and long range attacks. Gun Form displays an increase in speed, power, and defense, easily making it the most superior of the four basic forms. Ryutaros tends to fight as Gun Form at his whim, as he is able to overpower the other three Tarōs and in some cases Ryotaro. However, he also tends to cause more damage than the other forms because of his low precision and the high power of his ammunition. Ryutaros himself once assumed Gun Form during the events of "Final Countdown" in order to battle the revived army of Imagin. Ryutaros incorporates break-dancing moves into his fighting style in Gun Form, making his movements somewhat unpredictable.
  • Wing Form is Den-O's fifth form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Sieg. Wing Form is used again during the trip to the Edo period to fight the Cobra Imagin. Sieg himself once assumed Wing Form during the events of "Final Countdown" to assist in fighting Shiro's army of revived Imagin. Den-O Wing Form uses the DenGasher as two separate weapons, a boomerang (Sword and Grip) and a handaxe (Ax and Gun). Although it resembles Sword Form, the Aura Skin becomes gold, different shoulders are used, and the DenKamen's visor is blue swan-like wings. In order to access Wing Form, the golden Wing Buckle must be placed over the Terminal Buckle. This form gives Den-O agility far greater than Gun Form
  • Liner Form is Den-O's final form in the series, gained when the Tarōs created the DenKamen Sword for Ryotaro to use when they could no longer possess him in the past. In order to transform into Liner Form, the Rider Pass must be slid into a slot in the back of the DenKamen Sword's blade. This form, solely controlled by Ryotaro with the Imagin using the DenKamen Sword as a means of communication, is themed around DenLiner Gouka and KingLiner in transformation and attack. Ryotaro can also utilize each of his Imagin's respective fighting style, whenever their DenKamen is selected on the DenKamen Sword (e.g. Kintaros' strength and defense in KinAx Mode, and Ryutaros' breakdancing techniques in RyuGun Mode). It soon becomes the only form Ryotaro is able to use while fighting in the past. By the time the events of Saraba Kamen Rider Den-O: Final Countdown take place, Liner Form is Ryotaro's default form, accessed through the Rider Pass, the K-Taros, and the Den-O Belt. As compared to before, he could only access Plat Form initially, a sign of his much stronger will.
  • Most Powerful Form: Climax (TV), Super Climax (Movies)
  • Climax Form is Den-O's sixth form. It is accessed when all of the Tarōs except Momotaros fade away and Ryotaro's desire not to lose them creates the K-Taros which restores the three Imagins' bond to Ryotaro. After entering the code 3-6-9-# and attaching it to the Den-O Belt, Den-O becomes Climax Form. Climax Form is basically a stronger version of Sword Form that incorporates the DenKamen of the other three Den-O forms onto various parts of the armor (Rod Form's DenKamen is on the right shoulder with Urataros controlling the right arm, Ax Form's DenKamen on the left shoulder with Kintaros controlling the left arm, and Gun Form's DenKamen on the chest with Ryutaros controlling the legs). But due to the nature of Climax Form, the Tarōs need to work as one to fight, and their strengths are incorporated into Climax Form. The three DenKamen can also travel along tracks on Climax Form's body to align with the leg or arm to enter Kick Mode or Punch Mode with the three Tarōs controlling that one limb while leaving Momotaros to control the rest of the body to perform "Charge and Up" attacks. Usually Momotaros is the one controlling the whole body, but the other Taros are free to take over control of their respective limb parts anytime
  • Super Climax Form is Den-O's eighth, strongest, and true final form. It is identical to the original Climax Form, except with the addition of Sieg's power and Wing Form's DenKamen attaching to back, giving him wings. It is also physically stronger than Climax Form and has the ability to use the wings to fly up and execute a stronger version of Climax Form's Rider Kick. Although the wings are big and powerful to enable actual flight, it was only used to execute the said Rider Kick.

Ah man. This is tough. I love both of these guys, Kiva is my favorite rider, so I want to vote for him. But I think Den-O's going to have the advantage here, just a little bit more flexibility with his powers/personalities.

Kiva is actually really damn awesome and incredibly powerful. But Den-O is one of the most versatile riders outside of OOO. So he wins based on that. Kiva also stands a huge chance of winning this battle though. It's one of the closest match-ups skill and power wise in the entire tourney.

Kiva for me. Both have a sword form, both have a gun form, and then a big hammer has to beat an axe and a rod, in my book at least. Then emperor form should be more than a match for Climax or Liner form =]

He uses the Titan Sword that can be created out of pole or stick-like objects, normally the control handle of his bike. His finishing move is "Calamity Titan", a powerful sword thrust wherein Kuuga twists the blade as it is impaled.
  • Each of those forms can be further enhanced into Rising forms, adding golden trim and enhancing their weapons.
  • Can turn into Amazing Mighty Form, giving him a lot more power.
  • Most Powerful Form: Ultimate.
  • His most dangerous form, Ultimate Form combines all the powers of the other forms, Ultmate Kuuga has a much different design colored black with gold (and a little silver) trims all over his body, as well as having five horns on the headcrest, a black belt core and spiky-looking armor. Originally a risk is that the user would lose control and become like Daguba, a monster bent on killing everything in its way. However, due to Godai's gentle nature, he retains his will as he uses the new form against Daguba, retaining the red eye color of Mighty Form as opposed to the original black eyed color. When in battle, Ultimate Kuuga is able to see a monster's human form, every single attack from Kuuga Ultimate causes his opponent to bleed, despite the enemy's powerful armor.
    This form can also utilize the same powers as Daguba including Pyrokinesis.
  • Is assisted by the Gouram, which can combine with his motorcycle, the BeatChaser 2000, which can become the BeatGouram. The Gouram can attack opponents too.

Den-O:
  • Has 9 different forms, each with their own skills
  • Wields the Den-Gasher, a weapon with multiple weapon configurations
  • Can travel through time with the DenLiner, which has multiple powers in each train car.
  • Sword Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's first (and most common) form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Momotaros. In Sword Form, he uses the DenGasher as a standard sword-style weapon. Sword Form is the most balanced of all his forms, possibly because of Momotaros' prominence among the other Imagin. Momotaros himself once assumed Sword Form during the events of "Final Countdown" to battle Kamen Rider Yuuki. Every so often, Momotaros will develop a new Finishing Attack that he uses to finish off Imagin, and has developed Parts 1, 2, 2' (2-dash), 3, 5, Special Version (used in "I'm Born!"), and the Imagin-assisted Final Version, although parts 2, 3, and 5 are essentially identical. Special Version is nearly identical to 2, 3, and 5, but uses a double Full Charge and only strikes the enemy on the rebound, while Final Version is an extended attack that uses the energy of the other Taros, Sieg, and Zeronos. Sword Form also has a triple roundhouse Rider Kick that Momotaros refers to as his "Super Finishing Attack."
  • Rod Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's second form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Urataros. In Rod Form, the DenGasher is transformed into a rod-style weapon. Rod Form gains the ability to move and breathe underwater, increased protection, and increased kicking power. But as a drawback, he loses physical strength and jumping height. Urataros himself assumed this form when he borrowed Ryotaro's Belt to fight off the Mole Imagin he tricked, and again during "Final Countdown" to fight the army of revived Imagin. This form is one of the least used of Den-O's forms, as Urataros rarely fights. However, whenever a fight occurs in the proximity of water, or if the other Imagin are unable to fight, Urataros will assist with his fishing skills. Rod Form is also one of two forms that uses a Rider Kick as part of its standard finisher, pinning the enemy with the rod as a harpoon before executing a flying side kick.
  • Axe Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's third form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Kintaros. In Axe Form, the DenGasher is transformed into an axe for short, close ranged attacks. Axe Form gains increased strength and defense, but as a result suffers with less speed and kicking power. This form is the physically strongest of the Den-O forms, due to Kintaros's own brute strength. Kintaros himself assumes this form by using the Den-O Belt to help Ryotaro fend off an army of Imagin in the past, and again during "Final Countdown" to fight off the army of revived Imagin. Kintaros tends to fight as Ax Form whenever he senses crying or he hears someone near Ryotaro say anything resembling the Japanese word for "cry.”
  • Gun Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's fourth form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Ryutaros. In Gun Form, the DenGasher is transformed into a gun for short and long range attacks. Gun Form displays an increase in speed, power, and defense, easily making it the most superior of the four basic forms. Ryutaros tends to fight as Gun Form at his whim, as he is able to overpower the other three Tarōs and in some cases Ryotaro. However, he also tends to cause more damage than the other forms because of his low precision and the high power of his ammunition. Ryutaros himself once assumed Gun Form during the events of "Final Countdown" in order to battle the revived army of Imagin. Ryutaros incorporates break-dancing moves into his fighting style in Gun Form, making his movements somewhat unpredictable.
  • Wing Form is Den-O's fifth form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Sieg. Wing Form is used again during the trip to the Edo period to fight the Cobra Imagin. Sieg himself once assumed Wing Form during the events of "Final Countdown" to assist in fighting Shiro's army of revived Imagin. Den-O Wing Form uses the DenGasher as two separate weapons, a boomerang (Sword and Grip) and a handaxe (Ax and Gun). Although it resembles Sword Form, the Aura Skin becomes gold, different shoulders are used, and the DenKamen's visor is blue swan-like wings. In order to access Wing Form, the golden Wing Buckle must be placed over the Terminal Buckle. This form gives Den-O agility far greater than Gun Form
  • Liner Form is Den-O's final form in the series, gained when the Tarōs created the DenKamen Sword for Ryotaro to use when they could no longer possess him in the past. In order to transform into Liner Form, the Rider Pass must be slid into a slot in the back of the DenKamen Sword's blade. This form, solely controlled by Ryotaro with the Imagin using the DenKamen Sword as a means of communication, is themed around DenLiner Gouka and KingLiner in transformation and attack. Ryotaro can also utilize each of his Imagin's respective fighting style, whenever their DenKamen is selected on the DenKamen Sword (e.g. Kintaros' strength and defense in KinAx Mode, and Ryutaros' breakdancing techniques in RyuGun Mode). It soon becomes the only form Ryotaro is able to use while fighting in the past. By the time the events of Saraba Kamen Rider Den-O: Final Countdown take place, Liner Form is Ryotaro's default form, accessed through the Rider Pass, the K-Taros, and the Den-O Belt. As compared to before, he could only access Plat Form initially, a sign of his much stronger will.
  • Most Powerful Form: Climax (TV), Super Climax (Movies)
  • Climax Form is Den-O's sixth form. It is accessed when all of the Tarōs except Momotaros fade away and Ryotaro's desire not to lose them creates the K-Taros which restores the three Imagins' bond to Ryotaro. After entering the code 3-6-9-# and attaching it to the Den-O Belt, Den-O becomes Climax Form. Climax Form is basically a stronger version of Sword Form that incorporates the DenKamen of the other three Den-O forms onto various parts of the armor (Rod Form's DenKamen is on the right shoulder with Urataros controlling the right arm, Ax Form's DenKamen on the left shoulder with Kintaros controlling the left arm, and Gun Form's DenKamen on the chest with Ryutaros controlling the legs). But due to the nature of Climax Form, the Tarōs need to work as one to fight, and their strengths are incorporated into Climax Form. The three DenKamen can also travel along tracks on Climax Form's body to align with the leg or arm to enter Kick Mode or Punch Mode with the three Tarōs controlling that one limb while leaving Momotaros to control the rest of the body to perform "Charge and Up" attacks. Usually Momotaros is the one controlling the whole body, but the other Taros are free to take over control of their respective limb parts anytime
  • Super Climax Form is Den-O's eighth, strongest, and true final form. It is identical to the original Climax Form, except with the addition of Sieg's power and Wing Form's DenKamen attaching to back, giving him wings. It is also physically stronger than Climax Form and has the ability to use the wings to fly up and execute a stronger version of Climax Form's Rider Kick. Although the wings are big and powerful to enable actual flight, it was only used to execute the said Rider Kick.
