Oh man, both those trailers looked great. Not totally sold on who they have to play Barry, but I'm sure he'll grow on me.

Justice League might become one of my favorite movies. That trailer looked excellent. The movie seems off though with six members on the team. This movie needs a Hal Jordan or Shazam at least.

The should get either John Cena or Channing Tatum as Shazam, I lean more towards Tatum after seeing what he can do in the Jump Street films but then again Cena could pull it off too probably.
As for Hal Jordan, maybe if they bulk-up Daniel Brühl(Zemo in Civil War) slightly and have him speak in an American accent it could work.

Stargirl, Dr. Mid-Nite, Obsidian, and the Legion of Doom will appear in season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow. The Legion of Doom will apparently consist of Dhark, Reverse-Flash, Merlyn, and Captain Cold.

Jonah Hex will return in the second season as well.

Lego Batman still looks energetic

This season is going to be great. Harrison Wells wasn't in the trailer. My theory is that the real Wells is going to be the new evil speedster or of course it could be Hunter Zolomon as Black Flash. Interesting things coming up.

Well i'm hooked on the Lego batman movie..

The graphic novel was very dark, gritty and violent. If they want it do it right, I think a R rating is needed. Having a sex scene added just for the stake of it is stupid. I'm not going to let one scene ruin a movie for me. I still hope for a decent film.

The majority of the Legends of Tomorrow footage was from season 1. I was hoping for a preview of the JSA members.

I would love to get excited. But looking at it still being made by Snyder and still being set in the current DC movie universe I have absolutely zero interest in this. This whole universe is nothing but scorched earth at this point.

So just watched The Killing Joke (yes, its out there already) and it's every bit as bad as everyone is saying it is. The first half an hour anyway - its like watching someone's bad fanfic. It doesn't do anything to improve Barbara in the story, it makes her inclusion all the worse. The scene previously discussed in this thread and its fallout feel all the weirder hearing Kevin Conroy and Tara Strong do the voice acting.

From then on its a pretty serviceable adaptation of the book. If you like the book you'll like it, if you don't you won't - that's all there is to it really. Hamill's voice acting is always great to hear so that's something at the very least. It's weird though because after the disjointed beginning segment the actual Joker stuff feels oddly superfluous.

There is one mid credits scene that made me smile though. Oracle! :D

So yeah, not the best outcome for such a long-awaited movie. I hope DC are prepared for the backlash they seem to be getting.

Wow, that Legends trailer was lamer than the first season. Did they even show new footage in it?

Well Affleck is Executive Producer of Justice League. Snyder's name is still attached to the project, but only as a consultant so it's not like he can go absolutely batshit with this movie like he did BVS or man of steel.

I know. But it still doesnt change the fact that I just can't get invested in these characters anymore. I have absolutely no interest in them no matter what they do.

No. they already said during some interviews the humor is just there because people hated BvS so much.

I loved the Killing Joke. Batgirl and Batman being together didn't bother me. Joker in this movie was great. I loved the origin story and the best part was the end with Batman and Joker laughing together. One thing that I really didn't like was Batman's suit. It looked really awkward for some reason. Besides that, this movie was great.

Yeah, who would want to go into a COMIC BOOK movie and expect there to be humor?

I really hope this means they learned their lesson. Their desire to be 'anti-Marvel' is really backfiring in their face, in terms of both movie order and individual movie tone...While it might sound like I want superhero movies to be homogenized, I just think that DC's way (Rather, Snyder's way) is biting them in the ass, big time.

I know I'm late to the party but I finally got around to watching Batman VS Superman, and honestly? I thought it was kinda boring and tried way to hard to be intellectual. it definietly didn't need to be three hours long, but it did get better towards the end at least.

It definietly did NOT need to be three hours long...there's bunch of scenes that just weren't nessicary at all in the movie.

Civil War destroys this movie in every possible way.

I felt the opposite. Well, I haven't see the Ultimate Cut, but I felt the first 90 minutes were mostly solid while the remainng hour was total garbage.

I saw the Killing Joke tonight. My theater was packed and it was a total blast to see it on the big screen. The first half hour of the film felt kinda pointless with everything going with Barbara and Batman. The sex scene was not as bad as people hype up to be. I thought it was going to be a full on sex scene (Nudity and sex with genitalia). They cut away after Barbara started to take her clothes off. There was no nudity shown.

It was a stupid scene, but it did made the whole theater laughing. The rest of the film was pretty good, but I remember the Graphic Novel being way more violent. For a R rated movie, the movie felt rather tame. The animation and voice acting is great. Overall, it was a decent movie but I wish it could have been much better. Get rid of the relationship between Batman and Batgirl, I think it would have been a better movie.

I still had a lot of fun watching the movie on the big screen, but deep down I was rather letdown. Grade: C+

I don't think you can show penetration with an R rating. I think that's NC-17.

I think any sex scene in a Batman movie or any Batman related media is stupid. People did over hype the scene as it was from a porno or something really bad. I was like "That's it?" when it happen. It did make me wonder why is in the movie? Was it to make it rated R? The movie could have been R rated without it.

I still think that Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is the best animated Batman movie in my opinion. I still need to watch the other recent DC animated films. The last one I saw before I saw Killing Joke was Year One like three years ago on Netflix.

People weren't hyping it up because of what happened, but because of who was involved, and what it added to the story (The scene leaked during the comic con premiere, so a lot of people knew it just cut away as soon as Barb threw off her shirt).

It also pissed a lot of people off...

As for animated Batman movies, the whole "Damien" saga aren't really very good, so you don't have to go out of your way to watch those (I think the first one is up on Netflix if you want to make that call yourself, though).
