If they're going to dick people around and fulfill stuff randomly, they might as well open them whenever, right?

AmiAmi and HS don't have them open, but I'd rather smash my thumbs with a hammer. It'd be less painful.

If you'd seen my post on the last page you'd understand my frustrations with HLJ currently :(

This is just yet another of example of how much of a joke retailer they are. I don't want to order with them, ever. I actively try not to. But they typically become my last resort when I miss Amiami. I know Amiami's orders aren't up yet, but now my backup isn't even an option.

I'm only using HLJ as a backup these days, too. But I work a pretty rigid schedule, so I'm not sure I'll be able to catch AmiAmi when those particular toys go up there (especially not knowing the date the items will get listed). For general release Lock Seeds like these, if HLJ fails me I can always just wait for Mandarake.

HLJ are just far too unreliable as a main source. After duke I don't think I'll ever use them again unless the item is definitely in stock.

Btw doesn't amiami post up a notice before preorders go live?

Only for figuarts and the like. All the DX stuff goes up all ninja. Always sold out by the time I find them.

I went on a little spending spree last night, buying the Sengoku Driver, the 2 DX Rider Lockseed sets, (W, OOO, Fourze, and Wizard) and the Kurumi Candy toy Lockseed. I'm so glad Amazon has these toys I can buy~

I'm going to have to wait a couple weeks to get it all (damn it SAL) but I was able to grab the Driver for $48 - I had 2 options, get the Driver for $80 and get it here faster, or get it for much less, get more bang for my buck, but have to wait longer. I chose waiting longer for more Lockseeds. :'D

(also the 2 Rider Lockseed sets were about as much as buying them directly from a Japanese store, one was $20, the other was $13)

I have no clue. I have not ever caught a single DX pre-order. I've got the figuarts stuff down to the T. But for everything else I slap the URL into figinstock and jump on restocks.

Nah I saw. HS might lag a bit sometimes getting some stuff in stock, but they're good, and they never oversell preorders. Sometimes they even have stuff in stock longer than anywhere else it seems.

In my experience, it's anywhere from 10pm EST (or a bit before) to 1am. Sometimes it doesn't even really go in stock (or at least it's VERY brief, like, Figuarts would be impressed brief) on the US site.

OH FRACK YES! This cm is fracking awesome in displaying what it can do. I actually want this figuart even more than I did before now when they eventually announce it. if the figuart doesn't come with a tray of all the weapons it can use than that will be a major disappointment. seeing kiwami with the dj gun was so cool along with the various dual wielding.

Even though it's just a toy commercial, seeing Kiwami use those weapon combos really improves my opinion on it. Looking forward to the Key release this weekend.

I just shared the links, didn't check stock as I already pre-ordered @ HLJ (slightly more expensive, but more flexible)

I got a preorder in there for the Kiwami lockseed, and now the AC13 at hobbysearch, which has been far more reliable. They end up getting the item in a week late, but always come through. Happened for me with Kachidoki arms and lockseed. I also stupidly kept my preorder for Duke with Hlj instead of getting it with them and of course no Duke...

Yes, I've found if you don't get a HOT item from HLJ within the first hour or so, your chances of fulfillment on release date go down :(

Managed to snag a Figuarts Kachidoki. Did not expect it to go that fast. Glad I was able to get one at a good price. Will be nice to display next to my Figuarts Zangetsu Shin.
