Maybe. They're basically saying there was too much to cram in this final stretch, so they're not gonna be able to cover everything in the final episode, but that they can always supplement the story after the fact. Whether that means V-cinemas or anything else, it's clear something is coming, but it's also clear we shouldn't be expecting a completely watertight, neatly tied up finale.

What I'm thinking would be a good thing to do would be to bring back the Driector's Cut stuff for the final episodes, since it sounds like they know what's up and they probably even filmed all they needed, but the runtime is just too short. A couple times I think they've mentioned scenes that would have explained stuff just had to be cut, even before now. Unless there's huge gaping holes of unresolved major plotlines, which I hope they manage to avoid, something like that sounds most reasonable. But who knows, since it's been so long since the last time they did those.

I mean there was already going to be a huge amount of unresolved questions and plotlines in this show (most egregious in my opinion is that we still know basically nothing of Woz's motivations), so there being supplements after the finale is no surprise. We still haven't even gotten the last of Build's V-Cinemas yet, after all.

I don't if it's intentional of Toei to leave certain character plot lines and backstories out on purpose just so they could put them in V-Cinema releases. Seems kind of dickish if you ask me.

Having complete stories or satisfying endings doesn't stop sequels and spin-offs if they're profitable (Cross-Z New World certainly didn't do Build's story any favours).

Zi-O has just not managed (or not bothered) to make full use of it's run-time.

I'll be honest, Build's ending has been so disappointing to me that I didn't even bother watching any of the movies after the series ( except for Be the One, but isn't that one before one of the last episode?)

I didn't even bother getting a Cross-Z figuarts in the end...

As for Zi-O, I've been on the fence for a while before buying any merchandise and I completely skipped the figuarts in favours of the Figure Rise Zi-O and Geiz ( and even though I have to add extra details, the model kits already have more details than the figuarts....namely on the ridewatches..)

I don't know what would be a disappointing ending for Zi-O to me...I really don't know because so far, I've been enjoying the ride.

Sougo is likeable and if he decides to kill himself it wouldn't bother me.
I like Geiz and how he stepped up the "Secondary Rider" game, even though Ryuga has still his place in my heart.

One thing is sure with ZI-O, the series is never short of surprises, so I'll willfully do a suspension of disbelief for that last episode, the same way I did all the way with it.

I felt while watching the preview for the final episode, that it felt like 2 episodes crammed into one.

Cross-Z has hints of Magma, and Chalice in particular resembles Joker. That's pretty awesome.

That's actually from the storyboarder for Zi-O not the actual Another Rider designer.

There's no combining functionality; else the Zi-O II promo pics would have shown it. As you said, the combined version will come with Trinity and/or Grand.

the Woz armor doesn't have giant Miridewatches on it's shoulders

sad days, that does make me want a Zi-O/Geiz Armor Time with giant Ridewatches on the shoulders. Still very surprise we didn't get Zi-O and Geiz Legend variants for their Ridewatches that go on the other side of the Ziku-Driver.

Woz Armor looks great! Now all I need to see is Woz Futuring Zi-O/Geiz and my life is complete.

Also, Another Oma Zi-O looks great. The beard is a bit too much for me though. :lolol
