Goddd Dragonic looks beautiful... it's a shame we don't have a similarly high quality pic of Naki yet but they also look stunning. Can't wait to get mine!

Yup, as amazing as I imagined!!
|
SS Zeronos also just dropped. Lots coming up in the next week or so.
|
You can remove the glue holding Naki's wrist cuffs to be able to rotate the claw for suit accuracy, posing, and what not. Just thought I'd share.

That's SO neat. A decent amount of Kamen Rider Figuarts actually have very small details like that, but are risky and advised against because the glue tends to be too strong. Off the top my head, examples would be Gold Drive and Proto Drive's tires.

On an unrelated note, what's the girl on the mousepad from? |

The improvements on Rekka are so good. Hope to see the same on Nagare and Ikazuchi. The silver is present and red emblem is much more vibrant. Also, kinda funny that the WRB on the belt has the decal, but the closed version is still grey. Oh well, I can pretend Touma hasn't unlocked it yet. Also, the Brave Dragon on his holster is, uh, a fakeout. It's not an entire WRB. |

Got my Zeronos today and he's what you'd expect from the Den-O body, pretty good!
The card in his belt is SO LOOSE it falls right out, so I had to put two layers of sticker paper on the back to thicken it enough to stay in place. Also he seems to be a dust magnet? Some of the plastic feels ever so slightly tacky and every particle in the air immediately sticks to him. But other than that I'm happy with him! |
I got my Kamen Rider Saber Dragonic Knight in today he perfect. The paint sword match so much with the Dragonic suit and the book is nice to have detail on it.
He holds the sword tight now and Bandai seems to have made the hand not as wide so the sword don't fall out. He has a nice shine to him with the silver and the coat is easy to move around. Overall he the best Saber Figuart from the line I'm happy to add him to my collection this form to me feel like the final form IMO. Also shocking I happen to get an extra hand. 5 hands in the box insaid of 4 the other hand was behind the plastic never had gotten an extra before with Figuarts first time for me. Anyone else get extra before in their box? |

Also, just out of curiosity, can you get a pic of the blank Dragonic book he got? |

I don’t know how to upload pics on the site but there are reviews of him on youtube showing the book and here a website with it go down a bit and you see it. https://shishioh.info/SHF_KAMEN_RIDE...NIC_KNIGHT.php And he comes with the brave dragon book in the side of the belt I think it can be remove but I have not try it. |

May have to hit the Dragonic book and his DX Rekka with some silver, though. I'd like to things to look how they were in the props. Also, yeah, the Brave Dragon book is removable, but it's fakeout, it's not really an entire book, it's missing 3/4 of it. |
I know people were upset about the Saber line having hand plate armor ala Iron Man, but it's really growing on me. It's more accurate to the suits themselves, allows more detail to be expressed on the hands, and overall just adds a little more bulk to the suit. It's such a small detail but I'm coming to really appreciate it.
Back in the day we couldn't even get painted fingertips. Honestly it's a miracle how bulky our SH Figuarts Kamen Rider releases have become. I remember when I first bought Shinkochou Seihou Kabuto and it came with the notes explaining how the appeal of the renewals was that it pretty much looked like a suit actor could actually fit underneath the figure. I thought it was miraculous at the time, but nowadays I can't really unsee how scrawny and puny his arms are. You can't convince me they'll release a better figure of Dragonic Knight in a million years. The mold and proportions are just perfect. All I could really ask for are cloth skirtpieces but the thing is, soft plastic works because of the whole knight motif it has going on, anyways(even though that isn't show-accurate). |

Tho, I did notice he only got those after his rider kicks reissue lol |
Nah, Faiz got painted finger tips way before the Rider Kicks reissue. I think back when he either got the blacklight paint reissue or in the Auto-Vajin set they fixed it.
|
Ya it was the Aute-Vajin set because that is what I have on my shelf, painted finger tips on Faiz makes a world of difference but I am still hoping we get a SS Kamen Rider Faiz!
|
Dragonic's Rekka compared to B. Dragon's.
Something feels up with the emblem, though. Seems like it's fully transparent instead of painted gold. https://livedoor.blogimg.jp/hacchaka...c0bf82f7-s.jpg |
I think it's just the angle, the picture in Shishioh is perfectly fine.
|
Just so I'm getting my hype out of the way, obviously Revi is the 3000 yen rider, and then Vice is most likely the standard one that comes with the Gun Axe.
I want the axe very much. |
I wonder if they might get released as a two pack. Or maybe a separate "premium" two pack with more accessories.
|
First Saber, now Revice… just not digging Kamen Rider that much. I’m completely losing interest in collecting these things, the shows are such turn-offs to me buying the figures … WOW does Revice’s suit look straight FUGLY to me, from the Helmet to the Design to the color palette…horrific
|
"Well that's just...like...your opinion, man..."
In all seriousness though, I can see how the design can be a turn-off to some. I will say to try not to judge the series based off the designs alone. Gaim and Ex-Aid's designs were both issues for western fans when they were first revealed and they ended up very popular series in the long-run after all. In Figuarts news, Tokullectibles shipped my Naki. Now I'm just waiting for the invoice to pay off Zeronos. |
Reiwa designs have definitely been different from Heisei. I've been collecting very few stuff from the Reiwa era, mostly just the legend rider devices and a few standout Figuarts (Buster!). And I think I'm happy about that.
As we've been discussing previously, the cost of Figuarts have really gone up while the quality has been a bit spotty (the lack of back-hand armor was a real letdown to me). Besides, it's not like Bandai will stop making Showa and Heisei stuff. I just know a SS Black RX is around the corner! |
In terms of Reiwa SHFs, so far for me it’s been… Vulcan and Naki; and after that I’m only planning to get Rampage and maybe Zero-One. I’m starting to doubt Revice will be a big fav of mine despite loving everything about it, so I’m not sure I’ll pick anything up there… might change though

I currently have/ on pre-order:
-Thouser -Valkyrie -Pink Jin -Saber -Alpha Edge Z -Blades -Z Original -Dragonic Knight -Saikou -Jaou Dragon -Ikazuchi -Ultraman Trigger Vulcan Shooting went to me cousin, so I can grab his upgrade forms And then these I'm planning for: -Burning Jin (If I got money to spare and find him on the wild) -Kenzan (Slash to if I get tempted) -Sabela(Durandal is a maybe too if he shows up) -Xross Saber (If I gots that final form money lel) -Zero Two -Rampage Vulcan -ZAIA/Black Thouser (Maybe, if it happens) -Ark Horobi -Revi/Vice -Revice Secondary -Revice Q2 rider Maybe I got too much in my hands lol. I'm definitely gonna try limiting myself on Revice. It's bad enough I have to buy two for the main rider, hah. I'll stop at the Q2 rider, hopefully. |
I'm more than happy with Figure-Rise standard model kits. So I'm more likely to look at Figuarts that I think won't ever become a model kit.
I had the Figuart Zero-One and ironically the Entry-Grade of all things made me like the Figuart less. It just looked too thin in some areas and I could never get it to pose right. And as a customizer, it was great being able to put an LED in his head and not feel bad I was ruining a collectible toy. So if they ever do Reiwa Figure-Rise model kits, I'll be super ready! |

FRS Faiz and Ryuki look lightyears better than those old Figuarts, and Decade and Agito FRS give the SS a run for their money. I'll glady pick up any FRS kit that looks better than outdated figures. Already ordered Fourze and can't wait to see what they do with Blade
As far as pre-orders go, I only have Ohma, Grand, Shadow Moon, and Original Z on deck. I'll be picking up Revi when the time comes. As far as Vice goes, history says the second retail figure won't go for that much in the aftermarket |
To be honest, when they make an SS Faiz, I'm going to be strongly considering it. It's just such a good design and I can see it being beautiful. I still have SS Kabuto despite there being a FRS kit.
The SHFs I have preordered are Grand Zi-O, Ultraman Z Base, and Buster. If we get a model kit for Ultraman Z, it would probably be Alpha Edge. The other two I don't imagine we'll ever see a kit for. |

If they decide to make a model kit, though, I'd be glad to pick it up as well. https://i.imgur.com/qIB24ES.jpg |

Yeah, that person modifies almost all of their SH Figuarts Kamen Rider releases. His Zero-One Rising Hopper also has a completely reworked neck(it's thicker and made of some kind of stretchy material to replicate the look of the suit). The original release has a small neck compared to the suit.
The shoulders are really the one downfall of SH Figuarts. It totally makes sense for action figures to maintain the 360 degree rotation for the arms - especially for something as high end as SH Figuarts. However, because of that, a lot of poses will make them look a little skinny since it just isn't accurate to the suit. Some of our recent releases have the shoulders attached to the torso, like Calibur and Saber's dragon pauldrons, and I think it really works. I honestly don't think a 360 degree arm rotation is ever necessary for a lot of figures(especially when they have huge shoulder pads it ends up looking like a mess anyways) but I understand that it just makes them overall feel better. |
Quote:
-Jabbed wires on his head to thicken his head to match Nawata -Electric tape(?) on the neck to thicken it as well -Attach shoulders on both the torso and arms to match the suit's movement of the arm -Cut up the entire torso and bulken it up, detach the torso armor from the joint proper to make it shift up and down like the actual suit He's insane, but amazing work. And for someone who puts care in details like this, it's nice to hear from him he didn't feel the need to modify the Saber SHFs since they match already. Granted, though, I feel Blades should be shorter just for character accuracy's sake since Rintarou is very short compared to Touma and Kento. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ez6OoucV...jpg&name=large |
