Found this chunk of ice digging through my bins to get stuff ready to sell. From an old AotC-era Luke Skywalker figure, as I recall. |
Well that's a spiffy shot!

Finally took Marika and Sigurd out of their boxes and added them to the Gaim display:

Nice set! Makes me really upset that my Marika figuart got lost in transit to my house. Been about a month after I filled out the "paperwork" on the site, and nothing has happened.

SIC Gaim is weird. The last SICs i had were the hoppers and it feels like the articulation hasn't improved a single bit. The hip design is so old it doesn't even drop down, and it still uses the old single foot joint when SHFs all use the much better two part ankles. He's stylized and I mainly bought him to put next to Jinba and Kachidoki eventually but this is a modern toy that feels very dated.

Honestly, if they just made the ankles not suck and improved the hips, he'd probably be able to get some really dynamic poses but the leg restrictions are pretty limiting

Shinkocchou Seihou Accel is nothing short of beautiful, and I'm sure you didn't need me to tell you that:

Gogglev, can you be more specific about the ankles? I guess I'm not up to date on my SHFs. Not sure what you're talking about with two part ankles vs single foot joint.
