Unfortunately, they told me they don't allow cancelation for prepaid orders, which was the only option there was for Shadow Moon, unless you pat 15% of the total as a cancelation fee. Not gonna do that. They did offer store credit as an option essentially though. They'll cancel and refund my Shadow Moon if I place an order on a similarly priced item. Now I just need to decide if I should do the Kuuga reissue, Naki, or Buster. I already have the SIC Kuuga, and there's the option of the model kit, and Buster has the RKF, while all Naki has is So-Do. I like the Buster suit most of the three, followed by Kuuga, then Naki, but Buster is my least favorite of the three character wise, Kuuga and Naki are pretty much tied, though I'll admit my love of Naki is mostly from their pre-Covid episodes, they never were as interesting a character afterwards. For the quality of figure, Kuuga's a Seihou, and wity that comes the improved sculpt, while Naki and Buster are mainlines. Lastly, if I were to buy Buster, I'd have to get Slash later, can't have the DILF be separated from his boyfriend.

My solution in a situation like this: Roll a die.

This is also fair. All versions of Kuuga's main forms have only gone up over the years, so from the perspective of "investment" if you believe in that, Kuuga's the way to go.

Unless you are referring specifically to the 50th Anniversary Box, Kuuga is a main Rider who will probably get re-released at every anniversary.

I already have a preorder in place from BBTS, but I'm unsure about whether I should pull it for NNG; the service seems a bit wonky based on some quick google searching I did. What would you suggest?

I've personally had nothing but good experience with them; and while I have heard some negatives that's apparently focused on non-pre order stuff -- I believe it's along the lines of "If you're pre-ordering it's fine, if you're not it's risky".

Found Naki on Mandarake, and their price last time they sold wasn't bad, just 8K yen, not much higher than retail, so I think I should probably go with Kuuga, maybe get Naki and Buster used someday

Buster you might need to anticipate a price increase if the rest of the Saber Riders are any indicaton, but Naki and the rest of the Zero-One crew are pretty solidly holding at the ~8k range. Sometimes a considerable bit cheaper if you luck out on YJA (Scored a Thouser for 7100 and Assault Wolf for 6k). Obviously Valkyrie and Horobi are the exemptions at this point.

A modification I did for Nagare. Silver on the grey, obviously, and then blue marker on the back of the clear blue part and clean it up to highlight the glyphs. Very big difference in-hand.

Has anyone gotten their Naki and/or Dragonic Knight from NNG? I ordered mine the day they came out and they still haven't shipped, been stuck on "preparation in progress" since the 23rd.

I know they take a bit longer than other sites, I'm just worried since the last thing I Bought from them turned out to be sold out and they refunded my money weeks later

if you buy in stock items, they are painfully slow. It took 3 weeks to ship my MAFEX Superman.

A user in Vietnam has found a possible fix for the paint chippign issues with SS Tiga.

Once you remove it from the box, leave it in a dry idea and do not touch the figure for at least a full day, or 24 hours. Apparently this helps to dry the paint and stick better, so it won't rub off as easily.

Would putting it in say, an empty closed drawer be a good way of doing this?

Perhaps? Your best bet is leaving it out in the open with some form of cover over it to prevent dust from sticking.

Am prepared to put in my 1st used order from Mandarake? In general, what can I expect with an item "opened, used, package damaged"? I have seen they actually will put up photo if there is any damage and obvious paint chips.

"Package Damaged" in my experience is used for even extremely mild things like scuffs on the box, maybe a dent. Also stuff like removed sellotape taking off some of the top layer details.

If it was anything even slightly important they would have images to show it like you said. Unless you are the most extremely stringent must-be-100%-mint-sealed-box collector it'll be literally nothing

It's pretty common among Figuarts especially today. I have mixed feelings about it myself. Sometimes the extra touches and artistic liberties are cool and alright, but if I'm buying a Figuart, it's because I've only seen it in the show and I want it to look the way I saw it in the show.

That forehead piece in particular(at least in that lighting) looks like it came straight off a Gunpla runner tbh lol
