Loved Iron Blooded Orphans this episode! We finally have a ship and they got rid of Hitler-stache Judas as I like to call him, so now the plot can get really going! (Unlike Turn A, which finally got a ship in the 20s, lol)
I think the ship combat was really well done this episode, reminds me of some of the great ploys 00 pulled in season 2, even though it was just using an asteroid to turn around. It was super intense and I loved it. I think CGI for the ships was a very appropriate use here. The action was also fantastic. Seeing what's his name in the Graze they had as a spare was pretty cool too. Makes me think they're developing all of these Tekkdan characters that we just thought were going to be in the background to eventually pilot an army of MSes by the end of the show. So wait, I'm confused about Coral's plans (the Gjallerhorn guy in the red suit). First he wants to take out Kudelia for the sake of her father but also spur the independence movement at the same time, hides the report of his squad trying to take out CGS so he can't take the fall. Then this episode, he lets McGillis and Galieo take credit for the mission yet he's fighting in it? Something interesting about this episode was McGillis talking about the Gundam frames and how they've been important in many of the World Changing events. Either that's a cute little nod to the franchise as a whole, or it might foreshadow encountering other frames with pilots. I know we've seen scans of new Gundams, but as far as I know, they may just be armor interchanges for Barbatos taken from frames not currently being used. So this prospect makes me excited. |

If Daisuki isn't to your liking, gundam.info has it too I think. |
