Super Mario Maker~

Didn't see that one coming. Well, it's a new stage, so I guess we couldn't have predicted it. But nonetheless, Super Mario Maker getting a DLC stage already is a testament to how hard Nintendo is pushing this game.

Still waiting on Wolf though....

Honestly, just knowing that it's an original stage and not just another N64 stage gives me some hope.

Now I'm just wondering if there's any more to be revealed, since they like to release the DLC in bursts with multiple items available, or if the stage is just gonna be stand alone.

Maybe it'll have Geno and Ridley costumes.

My guess seeing as it's Mario DLC we might be getting Mario Mii Fighter costumes.

Personally I'd love to see Mario and Luigi for Brawlers, Hammer and Boomerang for Gunners and Toad and Toadette for Swordfighters.

I'm thinking maybe on the weekend after this DLC drops we all have some matches on the new stage. Sounds good to anyone?

With Nintendo releasing Yokai Watch in the US soon and with the series huge in Japan, do you think they will do something Yokai Watch related for Smash 4 as DLC?

And I doubt it. It's 3rd party (Only being published by Nintendo in regions outside Japan), so I don't really imagine so.

I suck at this game. No matter how much I try or how much work I put into Smash 4 , I feel like I'm never getting any better. I hate being the shitty player in my group of friends, having the best player of us beat me with my main, it frustrates me. And Online doesn't help too, I don't feel any more skillful fighting For Glory and tourney players then I did when the patch came out. I play this game at least an a half hour a day practicing and going online, and I have been looking up guides on how to doing all of Marth's fancy tricks., but I never get a better win rate online.

Perhaps better your fundamentals first, then.

This, it's better to get the basics of the characters out of the way before doing the expert stuff.

I agree with you on Zero. He defintley needs to get in since he's such an iconic character. I'm not a digimon fan, but seeing Augumon in Smash would be fun just for the internet reaction.

Just got the new Smash Update. We knew about Mario Maker, but there's more Costumes, which is always cool. The best one is the Rathalos Monster Hunter set, in my opinion.

Duck Hunt stage has been added to 3DS for free and Pirate ship is a Wii U only DLC stage.

OH THANK GOD IT'S NOT JUST ALL N64 STAGES. We actually have a chance now for Melee and Brawl stuff to be added, which has some pretty cool stages (New Pork City or Brinstar depths, anyone?) And Sakurai isn't afraid to slowly cross pollinate content across the versions.

I would love that, and maybe Sora too but Disney didn't want them to make a Kingdom Hearts fighting game so we got Dissidia. I don't see how we'd get Kingdom Hearts characters in it.

This is what I'm thinking too; a rumor without much grounding in reality. The Dis doesn't want its so called squeaky clean image "stained" by something awesome like letting Kingdom Heart characters be in a fighting game.

Aw well, onto lighter matters. Today's the last day of the Smash Ballot and with the rumor that there's 3 character slots opened via the latest patch we should be seeing who won the ballot sooner or later.

As long as there's no Disney characters I'm good. Fucking mouse needs to stay out of Smash.

Disney not wanting Kingdom Hearts in a fighting game doesn't make any sense when fighting is like 90% of the damn game.

Disney's weird like that. Personality I'm cool with Kingdom Hearts being far, FAR away from SSB. More room for more deserving characters.

Anyone can edit IMDB, so never buy into stuff on that site. I can have Tommy Wiseau as Lord Zedd for the upcoming PR movie on IMDB if I wanted too. Besides I doubt we will see any Kingdom Hearts characters in Smash since the series is co-license by Disney. Rumor has it that they wanted Sora in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, but Disney was asking for way too much money for Sora.

At the last minute i voted for Phoenix Wright, i know how unlikely it is as we already have anoter capcom representative but as it stands hi's franchise is basically doomed in the west so i think putting him in Smash would make good advertisement, maybe put Ryu as a mii swordfigter costume to make western players interested in DGS.
