Since they are all lottery sales - probably not. Haven't seen a pre-order myself and should some retailers get stock they’ll put a hefty fee on it for sure.

Saw oversea retailer putting up preorder for both for roughly $200 USD before international shipping. Not sure to pull the trigger or wait until later to see how’s the price going? Last year exclusives did not jump too much on prices

I will wait myself, the overall volume of produced figures isn't decreased, only the matter of how they are sold changed.

So I'd say prices for these might get better over time, once people realize it's not that limited in numbers and not terribly sought after.

Yeah, I preordered too early for last year exclusives and overpaid, especially on OOO tamashi combo. I most likely will wait and see also. Thanks for the suggestion

Well, you've also gotta consider that we haven't seen Saber's V-Cin stuff yet. I could only reliably predict and hence put down Espada's new form, but 01's V-Cins for instance had a total of four new Rider suits; and we might see the same for Saber. Possibly stuff in the inevitable Revice/Saber movie, too?

... oh, and I also forgot to put down Super Hero Senki. Maaaybe that'll make it. I think it would be very funny if that was the only Sentai SHF in years

Would just like to say Ume Musume (that horse girl anime lol) is getting at least a single figuarts release. I'm only saying it in this thread, because they seem to have a relationship with Kamen Rider in that the characters do many of their poses and same studio is going to make Fuuto Tantei.

In more related topics, I'm kinda curious on how they might Wonder Almighty. Will they just make the red chrome? Transparent like the prize figure?

Yeah, I find it unlikely they'll happen. Default Xross is how Saber's final form will be identified in promotional material from now on. Tho, I wouldn't hold out them doing Featuring Saber if they really wanted to. They have the mold for it already.

Anybody get payment requests/shipping notifications for Dark Kiva yet?


It feels like this release is taking longer than usual, though I know shipping is a bit of a mess right now.

Where did you order? AmiAmi? It took several weeks for them to send my last payment request, I thought it was rather unusual too as they usually charge me the day everything’s in stock, but apparently they take longer now, I think there's a separate notice in the support center that payment requests and shipping can take longer at the moment.

Yeah Amiami's a bit behind on shipping preorders atm. I have something that I preordered that came out a week or so ago but have yet to get a payment request for it.

I have Dark Kiva on-preorder from Tokullectibles but it was the partial downpayment option so I'm not expecting to get him for a while still whenever they get their shipments in.

My Dark Kiva arrived from Nin-Nin yesterday.

But I have a Figuarts Goku Black that released at the beginning of August that I'm still waiting for a payment request on at AmiAmi.

Think I managed to get my pre-order in for Golza an the GUTS Wings just in time.

Dark Kiva was one of my most anticipated releases of the year so I'm pretty excited for it.

Tokullectibles still have the US version up for preorder

As a general release, is it common for the US version vastly available while everyone is trying to get hold of the Japanese version?

It should be noted Dark Kiva is from before Bandai and several other toy companies started struggling with production. Basically anything afterwards had much less stock available.

Because they get US releases directly from a different source.

US releases come from Bluefin, who they said in their allocation email that they still expect to get their shipments in that will fulfill everyone, but due to them getting it a month or so later, you're going to expect a delay there as well.

Their JP stock doesn't last anywhere near as long as their US stock. For example, JP SS Black sold out on-preorder and never came back in-stock. The stock they have right now is from the US release since that's been plentiful. Same with their Ixa listing or Blades. Dark Kiva might end up the same way, but we won't know until they start getting stock in from both JP and US.

Not an Ultraman type of guy but I do find it nice that they're still making figures for the monsters; I think it helps that the monsters in Ultraman are memorable and recurring in multiple series, making them feel like they deserve figures of their own.

Kaiju are definitely more of a feature in Ultraman than they usually are in Kamen Rider and the like. One way I'd describe much of the Ultraman franchise is an effort to condense Kaiju movies into a 20-minute episode

Otherwise there's Ankh (the hand), the Figuarts Zero Hokuto Crows, Crow Amazon, Mole Amazon, Super Heart Roidmude and then N-Daguva-Zeba. Not a whole lot in the last few years.

Desast would be perfect though, and who knows, maybe we're getting him, Saber Figuarts isn’t done yet.

I could definitely see them feeling Falchion is enough, maybe bundled with one of Dezast's swords. Never say never though
