Something I learned recently is that almost of the Zabi family in the original MSG (Kycilia, Sasaro, Garma, Dozle, Gihren), have different mothers, at least in the novel version. Dozle and Garma are the only ones to share a mom.

There's some really great kits in HLJ's autumn sale. Denial Gundam, Lightning Gundam, MG Hyaku-Shiki 2.0, Ez-SR, Mega-Shiki, SD Musha Amazing... quite frankly, I'm surprised that they have an overstock of them. Regardless, I picked up a RG Z'Gok and a Lightning Gundam with the Mk II backpack. |

I found that out from the website of Mark Simmons, and English Language Gundam Superfan who has translated a few tidbits of information and hangs out on mechatalk forums. Something else interesting is that there's a bit of a gap between the body composure of Degwin and his kids, all being strong and muscular. Or at least Garma and Dozle. But I've heard the gap explain due to his body deteriorating in space since he was originally from Earth. Quote:

Wing, G, and SEED had good dubs, but they also had their fair share of problems. Wing had too many secondary character voices changed halfway through the show. G's Gundam names were all jacked up even in the uncut version. SEED had some voices that just did not fit. They're watchable dubs, but they are far from great. The UC dubs all suck ass though. It doesn't even sound like they even cared when they dubbed them, which is a shame. |
I'd disagree when it comes to Zeta at least. I really really liked that dub a lot. They set themselves very far apart from the MSG dub. No character who returned in Zeta was played by the same voice actor and it really helped sell the notion that it was a different time and place. Really enjoy that dub a lot.

As for the 0079 dub, I thought it started out fine but got worse as the series went on. |
