I was debating between Fenice or Fenice Renncita(not even going to try to correct that spelling :lol) But we all know Fenice V.1 is more badass looking :p

Real Grades are fantastic.

They're like my favrioute model kit scale/line by far.

Whats so great about them? They only look like pricer HG to me.

They're basically mini master grades.

You know I would totally order G-Arcane, but I'm not really that into Gundam Reco G to have the need for it.

I just watched a metric shitton of Wing, I'm 16 episodes in now.

Here's the list of Gundam anime I've completed: G, Wing, & 00. I've yet to complete the rest of the final season of AGE as I've lost all interest since they pulled that Deus Ex Machina involving Kio's father Asemu being the space pirate leader in S3 of AGE aka, it was quite a lame plot twist, though must Gundam anime post 00 are more for the younger audience than they used to be.

Gundam AGE is…alright. Having the main antagonist be disgruntled Martian settlers was really a lame plot twist, the Vegans were cooler when they were this mysterious force that only showed up to wreck stuff, that said though: I love some of their designs they're the most unique I've seen in any Gundam universe.

The whole three generation ark thing was neat and it was cool seeing our protagonists as they age throughout the series. The only problem is though…I feel as though this came back to bite them in ass as Gen 3 is just a wreck.

I absolutely HATED Kio, that damned Kira Yamato wannabee freaking RUINED gen 3 in my opinion. Not to mention that the cast grew so large that it felt like they didn't know what to do with most of the characters.

FINALLY got the RG Exia built. Only decided to do some of the clear PET parts as those were a b**ch to deal with & had to superglue part of the right shoulder & 2 of the parts for the waist, but I got it done in under 10 hours with the only issue being the legs don't wanna stay on the body. Update, I Was unable to keep the repair for its right shoulder so, it's finished, but doesn't have the shoulder unit .-.

Just throw a cloak over it and call it Exia Repair.

Only the right shoulder got fudged up so it's not that big of a problem, the problem is, it'd look weird with a non-damaged GN Sword *had to super glue the peg that goes into the arm back onto the part that has that peg this morning & that was REALLY annoying -_-*. Age is a mixed bag for me. The firs Age is where some of the best character development, and probably best characters reside. The Vegans felt the most threatening as well. But the show just didn't know how to handle transitions from age to age. Asemu from the 2nd age is still the best of the protagonists in my opinion and that was helped by the fact that his father essentially became a basket case after his experiences in age 1. But 2nd Age has the worst pacing of 3. So poor that a movie specifically aimed at smoothing out the inconsistencies present in that age actually made them worse. And the 3rd age is where the entire affair falls completely flat. Kyo is one of the worst protagonists ever and I'm sorry but he's far far too young, even for the children the show is aimed at, to identify with.

Each age has a big problem with introducing new characters to you that you were supposedly meant to care about as well. They were meant to be introduced in such a way that when they died it would matter to the viewers and to the Gundam pilot of the age. But because of the shortened length of each age almost none of the characters had impactful deaths/development that anyone other than the main 3 pilots ever cared about. Aside from our main trio of pilots the only other truly memorable character who really stuck with me before their death was the always awesome Wolf Enneacle.

I found mostly all the Vegan Mobile Suit designs to be terribly boring and non-threatening aside from a handful of 3rd age suits. The Federation was fine but most of the designs felt like poor attempts to recapture the classicness of the Federation from the original series. And it really felt like the show just wasn't sure how advanced the technology was from setting to setting, it varies to great degrees from Earth, to Space, to the colonies, etc.

Age has it's moments though, it engaged me with it's certainly unique premise. Flit & Asemu are great characters during their respective ages, Asemu even after his thankfully. But ultimately the show just had no idea where it wanted to go or which characters actually mattered.

I still haven't watched AGE and I don't plan to. Uninspired mobile suits and a bad second half do not sound interesting at all.

On another note, should i just watch the complation movies of the orginal show or watch the orginal series all the way though?

If you mean the first Gundam show I'd say it's probably easier to just watch the movie trilogy.

Watch the Movie trilogy. Better animation, it doesn't drag on, and it is the canon version of MSG.

Boy episode 7 of Try was certainly packed with the feels.

Was trying to watch it on my iPhone, I stopped because the inner child would scream so imma wait it out until I get back home :lol

Reading through recent posts leads me to believe more and more that I'm the only individual that enjoyed Age xD

I'd give it a shot if I could find it anywhere.

The idea was promising, and I enjoyed it up to Gen 3 even if it wasn't spectacular, but oh man, once it got to the "All Generations" arc it went downhill fast.

I can agree with that, up till Gen 3 it really clicked with me for some reason.

I liked the first season, somewhat tolerated the second season, could not stand the 3rd season at all. The ONLY thing in common for all three seasons, the main Gundam designs didn't hurt my eyes but they weren't mind blowingly awesome like the Gundam designs from G, Wing, 00, or even SEED & SEED Destiny, that's saying something.

I say this a lot but Kio really did bring down AGE for me.

I want a 1/144 Destiny Gundam after watching Ep.7 but.... I already know Shimon is most likely to get his own customize gunpla later on.

Why not the RG?

You'll be able to pull off some of those boxer poses a little bit more naturally with that.

Never knew they had a RG to be honest, I'm still a bit out of the loop with everything Gunpla, besides things that are Unicorn, and the Build Fighters Series and a bit of the older Wing gunplas.

I didn't come back into the loop till 2012, after that, I've been checking the Gundam Guy blog for Gunpla kit releases, & Monday, I literally built my FIRST real grade kit EVER, now I want to get another RG kit or a Master Grade kit. I'm deciding between RG Destiny, RG Strike Freedom, or the upcoming RG Astray Blue Frame D, goddamnit Bandai Japan & your awesome Gunpla releases :lol.

Speaking of RGs, apparently the next one will be the 00 Raiser.
