My only question is will they go with a totally new song or they have a different artist sing a re-arranged BUTTER-FLY since Kouji Wada has passed away sadly and it is a reboot and all. Having BUTTER-FLY as the theme song feels appropriate, but at the same time I kinda would not mind a totally new song as long as they can deliver.

The new Digimon is out, I enjoyed it. The opening sounds like a mix between the Appmon opening and a My Hero Academia opening trying to do a Digimon opening. Wasn't a bad song the opening will grow on you.

Now you all shall watch it or I will come to your homes and force you to watch Clockwork Orange style.

I......... LOVE IT! The new reboot felt so amazing yet weird, I don't know why.

Maybe it's because Digimon Adventure was a very 90s/00s setting, so seeing these kids in a modern setting felt weird.... in a good way. Like exaple in the ending theme, seeing Yamato wearing earphones like every kids does nowadays, it's fascinating.

My biggest worry is that I went into this show expecting nothing and it would be similar to reboots like Ben 10 which is more kid oriented, but this feels like a reboot done right.

My slight nitpick though? Is that Digivolutions stay the same. Idk I just want to see a different kind of Digivolution line (maybe finally have that VictoryGreymon debut) since this is a reboot, but it's probably an unpopular opinion since if they had different Digivolutions people would naturally complain.

I'd be happy if the 02 kids got non DNA based Ultimates and Megas, but that's just lil ol me

If it gets dub, I hope they can most of the original English voice cast back. I have a big soft spot for the original Digimon English dub cast.

So I have no idea yet on what they plan on doing with this show, I am enjoying it though, Oh the green one eyed digimon seem to be the different stages of Argomon from Savers. Digital World might appear in the third episode. Amazed by what they did in episode 2. Hopefully they have this planned out well.

Disney XD from what I last remember airs Pokemon and Beyblade Burst. Not sure about other anime but I did find out that Disney Channel does air Miraculous Ladybug. As for who would air the Digimon 2020 I think matters on who owns the rights to the series over here currently.

So Last Evolution did premiere in Japan, it's just international and home release that's delayed. I wonder what's the consensus of the movie is.

Anyways, I recently finished Adventure 01 and Our War Game. 01 was ridiculously slow for the first half, but once they went to Tokyo, I was hooked and couldn't stop. Our War Game was awesome too, but the art change bothered me. Don't get me wrong, it was visually awesome, it just felt disconnected from the series because it was so different. I also wish it was a big longer, so they had more time to go in depth.

I guess 02 is next! Just...not sure when.

Also, what's so bad about Tri? So many people hate on it, but I think it looks awesome.

Well Summer Wars is basically an extended and even more big budget version of Our War Game lol. Give that a watch.

Also the problem with Tri is the pacing. It felt draggy and most of the tine not much happened due to slow pacing. All set up with not payoff or explanation. And they also have animation issues.

People were expecting a solid lead in to 02's epilogue, and some even hoped that they retcon the ending (or expand on things that don't make sense such as a particular career and relationship), but Tri felt like a filler.

It doesn't help that Tri also intoduced a new Digidestined who is basically the secondary protagonist of this seties, when the idea was to focus on the 8 original Digidestined.

It's technically bad that it's the reason Last Evolution was made, as a saving throw.

Adventures 2020 will return in July.

Pretty much Tri was like someone who never watched Adventures 01 and 02 used some notes they had of the plot of 01 and a couple notes on 02 then tried to make a very long special that they had no idea on what to do. Like the 02 cast disappear with Kari and TK not noticing or caring that much when they were friends and allies with them in 02.

I can go into more details but it would be big spoilers if you plan on watching Tri. The first half I enjoyed but damn the second half was bad. Through out Tri there would be certain characters appearing that now just seem to be there just so the creators can go like "See we did watch the show".

Man that's way too long. They probably just resumed production.

I don't see Digimon ever airing on Toonami because it seems like AS/Toonami wants to avoid toy driven shows.

Here's what we know:
It's Shodo Digimon.
It will be available at retail, but there's also a Premium Bandai release that comes with more.
The PB set has exclusive Shokugan bases and box art by Kenji Watanabe. Everything else is also in the retail wave (The figures themselves).
Both are being released in October.
There's a wave 2 teased with MagnaAngemon, MetalGarurumon, and MegaKabuterimon.

Guessing it's been canceled which tends to happen with digivolving toy lines.

Not only robbed of Dukemon which was already done, but cancelled before they could make something really awesome like an Imperialdramon that can switch between Dragon and Fighter Mode. Feels bad man.

I wish Tamashii would just make Digimon SHF's again... or screw it, make something really cool for the anniversary and give us an S.H.MonsterArts MetalGreymon.

It took an hour or so for the retail version to be announced, but it is getting both and I'm very happy I don't have to deal with middle manning now. The stands are just the Shokugan bases with the Crests added to them. So yeah, not worth it.

Either way, I'm just happy that there's finally a normal Angewomon action figure and it just so happens to be in a toy line I already like.

If you have a PSP I'd recommend that Digimon Adventure game. There's no official western release but there are fan translations.

Currently watching the 13th Doctor's 2nd turn with 4 left. So far it's been pretty solid.
