See I found DOFP to be just as disappointing as X-men 2 & 3. I know lots of people love 2 as well but I just didn't care for it.

In any case the Apocalypse trailer is out there now. Yay. It's about as ehhh as I thought it would be.

Saw some of the Marvel panels earlier today on YouTube. The Deadpool panel was amazing and great, really wished I was there to see it in person. I liked the Agents of Shield panel, some funny (and one cute) moment/s in that one. The X-Men Apocalypse panel was okay, so was the Fantastic Four panel, but I wasn't really interested in those two anyway.

Really? Yeah, I thought X2 was great, especially because the first movie was lackluster. I liked it, but if X2 hadn't been made, I wouldn't have bothered watching it ever again. My only issue with 2 was its music as it just wasn't memorable like it was in the first movie. X3 is just horse manure though.

I'm looking forward to Apocalypse because Apocalypse is my favorite X-Men villain. Plus, like I said, it has the First Class cast.

I have no interest in Deadpool or Gambit though because I hate Deadpool and I hate Channing Tatum.

Reading the original Secret Wars at the moment and its tons of fun and pretty much the best event book I have read to date.

Even more than the nekkid Thing is the fact he still sounds like a teenager. That just seems crazy. It almost comes across as a joke or something.

Well he is supposed to be a teenager. Turning into the Thing doesnt vhange that.

I really love their version of Reed Richards. You really get the idea that he is the most intelligent human being on the planet.

Yeah, but if his body goes through that kind of change, odds are his vocal cords wouldn't have been left unaffected. The voice just doesn't fit the character, to my taste.

Weird. See, that's what I expected. In the clip KRX posted, when he says "You can't fix this", the Thing's mouth is moving in synch and the actor's unmodified voice is coming out. That's what I was griping about.

Guess we have to see the movie to find out...clever move fox :lol

But either way I´m okay with him having his voice stay the same. But thats maybe just because I´m a huge fan of the actor :lol

I actually don't think I've ever seen him in anything.

His first major role was in a british film called Billy Elliot where he was pretty young. Other than that he was in Jumper and played Tintin in The Adventures of Tintin.

I wanted him to hack drones and call them Doombots.
Oh well.

Far more entertaining trailer this time around, I'm still not crazy about it, but it could be fun enough.

Yeah, it's really hard to associate that voice to the character.
Hopefully it's just an early editing thing.

except that the original movies had the decency to have the guy change his voice when he was rocky Ben and fleshy Ben.

I honestly dont give a rats ass about what the other movies did.

I just have no problem at all with his voice staying the same. Probably because I dont have him change his voice when I read the books so I dont wxpect a movie to do it.

I just don't think it would be that unreasonable for a pair of shorts in Ben's size to exist. :lol

I know it's not exactly a clear shot, but this is apparently from the X-Men presentation at SDCC. It looks more like cosplay than an actual movie product, but it's supposed to be legit.

They said it was very early footage so I'm sure after post production it will look alot better. People had the same concerns about the last two movies and it was fine in the finished product.

I hope that isn't Apocalypse because that looks more like something out of Mass Effect than X-Men.

Oh, and I have no plans to support that (Not So) Fantastic Four movie.

Well Psylocke was one of the Horsemen in the comics so I can see why they chose her.

Pretty insane that Fox could hit the mark so hard on Psylocke this go around but ENTIRELY missed the dart board with Apocalypse himself. He looks like a really bad cosplay crossover of Ivan Oooze and Sark from Tron.

Psylocke looks awesome! Apocalypse on the other hand.... nice, but I feel like they could have done better.

The costume looks good, but the actress looks awfully familiar and not in a positive manner.

Yeah, that, I'm used to Apocalypse kind of looking like nothing anyways.

But I grew so used to no costumes that Psylocke is the one throwing me off. :lol

Psylocke's costume is... I'm torn. On the one hand, yay for accuracy. On the other hand... She doesn't really have a good costume. And... The window is rather unnecessary.

Magneto... Seems a bit busy. But I can't say I hate it.

Can't wait to see Cyclops, though. That'll be cool. You can't mess up Cyclops.

I'm not a fan of the new Apocalypse look but remember- not that long ago he would've been just some pale dude in a trenchcoat.

This is still a step in the right direction.

There's a point where you go too far and need to seriously reconsider your life choices. Apocalypse walked up to that line in the sand, threw a rave right on top of it, and took a supersonic jet straight past it into the horizon.
