Daigo and Amy didn't, either, but by the end of Kyoryuger, they could've had Daigo and Ian end up together, or Daigo and anyone, seeing as how much they made it a point to sell Daigo's coolness and everyone fangirling for him...

I always adored the Abaranger/Boukenger/Go-Onger jackets. An Alata jacket would be really awesome too.

What is your theory of why Yamato have a bad relationship with his father?

It seem Yamato doesn't get along with his father but we don't know why! So I watch Episode 16 and when young Yamato told his uncle if he can talk about animal. His uncle says yes. It's implied his father HATED ANIMALS! It like Birdman Hated ZYULAND!

3 Possible Theory

1. His father was a bounty hunter, So why a kid have a father who implied hating animals, Maybe his father was a bounty hunter and he wanted Yamato to be like him I guess

2. His father was a workaholic businessman! Okay this relationship could be sound like Yukito's relationship with his father. He wanted his son to NOT WASTING TIME WITH ANIMALS and work hard as a corporate businessman but Yamato didn't want that job! Which cause a strain between a father and a son

3. His father just hated animals, So what does he against animals? He and Birdman have something in common with each other! THEY BOTH HATED ANIMALS! Easy pieces

Takeru have a great relationship with his father but Yamato didn't have a great relationship with his father. Big Contrasting!

A child goes to his uncle's house after an argument with his father, he asks his uncle to read about animals because he wants to escape from his bad situation, and you come to the conclusion that he hates animals?

Here's a possible theory.
His father is a zoologist. He put his work before Yamato because his father loved animals more than he loved Yamato (Or made it seem that way to the young Yamato).

Or it was a Haruto situation and Yamato's an orphan (isn't that just the way?)

Except Birdman was watching over Yamato and in the wreck, he saved poor Yamato and bestowed upon him the Cube. And then he went to live with Mario.

The most recent episode had a flashback showing an adolescent Yamato (Looking to be about 9-10) running to Mario's house after an argument with his father, so we know he wasn't orphaned at birth or anything.

Neither was Haruto, hence the comparison.

Will Yamato's parents especially his father play important role in later episode.

It seem they are foreshadowing about what going to happens in later episodes because they keep talking about Yamato having a not-so-great relationship with his papa!

In Episode 2, Yamato reveal to Tusk that he met Birdman after he ran away from his home due for argument with his parents. I thought it just a typical kid being troublemaker to his parents. :lol Naughty Boy!

In Episode 9, when Sela ask Yamato about his parents, He didn't answer her question as his uncle help him of not answer the question. I thought maybe he was too embarrassed to tell his teammate about his parents. Maybe his parents put him in a bee costume! :lol

In Episode 16, Yamato tell his teammates of how his uncle is like family to him, a young Yamato went to his uncle's house and his uncle notice that Yamato have a nasty fight with his father. :eek: Okay......... It sound they are serious of how bad Yamato's relationship with hus parents are!

So you guys ever had a time where you wanted to eat a certain food featured in Super Sentai(for example, curry rice, anpan, gyoza, etc.) and just cooked one or went out to eat it?
For me it was gyoza after watching that Dairanger episode in Gokaiger.

It depends on how long he's a villain. GoseiKnight was a villain for a while, and KyoryuGold and GaoSilver were villains before they became rangers, and they all survived their series.

When Ginis force 3 Zyuman give up their Zyuman power to Zyuoh TheWorld but can shortened their lifespan! Giving how brutal Ginis is, I think he took lot of their lifespan and ultimately killed them!

Well, if you look at other Sentai and KR, characters die all the time. It's not too surprising for Sentai to kill characters.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rhino, wolf, and croc Zyumen die during this power transfer.

I wonder if Misao would feel bad for being indirectly responsible for their death, I wonder he would be distant toward Zyuohgers because he doesn't want 4 Zyuohgers (Sans Yamato) get a same fate as Rhino, Wolf and Croc Zyuman! He is trying to get away from them!

It does, though. The only difference is that their powers tend to be relegated while in suit, while comics have their powers 100% of the time.

I was just watching Zyuohger #16, I forget who but one of the Zyuohgers openly transformed in front of people.

If their identities are supposed to be a secret from everyone but the bad guys, why do they constantly transform where security cameras, cell phone cameras, and other video recording devices can see them? The whole secret identity thing makes no sense if they don't bother to protect it.

Also why do they always let the bad guys see their faces? If the bad guys some how follow them they can easily find out who they can use against them.

Should sentai have more black and green sixth members ?

Green with Gold armor is a great combination. Dragonranger and Shurikenger prove that. I certainly would be happy to see that combination brought back for a 6th ranger some day.

So after reading articles about the potential of having a black Doctor Who (where all the actors before and current have been white) and Hermione Granger in the new Harry Potter play being cast as black, it got me wondering if the same sort of thing could happen to Tokusatsu in general.

That's not the problem. The problem is finding a black actor/actress with the right age, who fits the character, with the acting skills and the knowledge of the Japanese language. Who lives in Japan.

That's really not that easy. Like, whenever someone from the West stars in a support role they barely speak Japanese or just drop English lines, because they don't really speak Japanese or aren’t really actors. And if someone is a recurring supporting actor it's not the hero type Japan is crazy about, because the actor just doesn't fit.

Instead they have lots and lots of young Japanese actors who want to use Toku as a starting point for their career with big agencies behind them.

I'm pretty sure if they would have the chance to cast a foreign-type who fits the requirements, they would do it. Especially in Sentai where the team members besides Red and Nr. 6 aren't that heavily marketed as toys. So it wouldn't even really screw up sales, if that’s what they're afraid of in your theory.

What is Toei's surprise announcement for Super Sentai or Kamen Rider?

For me, it got to be when Toei announced Kamen Rider Drive Saga: Kamen Rider Heart. I was like "How did he got his own movie?! He didn't become Kamen Rider in Drive show!" I never thought we could get a Heart movie! A movie that about a villain that wasn't a Kamen rider! How did that happens?!

Honestly, when it comes to 6th Rangers, I'd prefer any color that isn't gold or silver.

I'm usually over on the KR section of this forum, but am going to try and branch out and watch a season of Sentai. I would like to start strong of course so what are some good ones? To give a little bit of perspective, my top 3 KR seasons are W, Fourze, and 555 (I'm a heathen, I know). I've been considering Kyoryuger because it has the same main writer as W, even though I have heard complaints about Daigo. I'm also considering Ninninger, Jetman, and Shinkenger; but I would love to hear any and all suggestions for what s good and what to avoid!
