You know given we're getting it in Episode 38... yeah it definitely feels like more could possibly be coming. At least that's the hunch I'm feeling.

Oh yes, evolving final form!

Episode 38 was actually the biggest reason I felt was against another form coming; because I figured that was too late. Final Forms typically debut around this number

I'd agree but this is the earliest we've gotten it since Ex-Aid, we've got form previews for Build and Zi-O in 39 before fully debuting in 40, and Zero-Two was 40.

Which would mean that the form we saw pictures of is just Brave Dragon upgraded by the sword, and the actual final form will probably be a new book. Which I honestly find more interesting than just a new book for the final form.

Maybe that's the new Reiwa trend: the final form uses a new belt/transformation device in addition to a new item. Zero-Two driver, Saber's new spacey sword. I wonder if that'll keep going.

Although, that just raises the question of what happens if you use Saber's other books with the new sword. Hmm...

Something I noticed, if you squint REALLY hard enough, you'll see all the emblems of the riders on the sword.

Yeah, from hilt to sword tip, it goes:

Saber Blades and Espada

Buster Kenzan and Slash

Calibur Saikou Sebela and Durendal

Falchion is left out.

I prefer the form to be called Galactic Saber than Cross Saber, although Cross makes sense in the sense that it's a combination of all the Seiken.

Also, considering that we got Saber x Ghost, and now a blue Saber, that can only mean one thing: The world revolves around Fish. Everything Fish wishes, comes true.

I mean, Cross Saber makes sense because his new Seiken is literally just a cross - as well as his visor and henshin effects. It makes sense when you consider the fact he actually has some homages to Kamen Rider X.

Also this is probably reaching, but Saber being blue might be a reference to Ichigo. What a better way to celebrate the 50th anniversary by the very first Rider suit being blue and the final form of the current Rider being blue as well? Although if he has pink accents (especially pink eyes) this would make a lot more sense.

Don't forget that that there's a type of sword called a cross sword. It's probably best not to read too much into this.

Huh, so they decided to go that route where instead of the actual onyomi they write it as 十, the number 10 in Chinese characters and also resembles a cross but read it as cross. FYI the word cross in Japanese is jyujika 十字架, which translates to 10-shaped rack/stand. In other words within the Japanese context it is seen as a a rack/stand that is in the shape of the number 10 and probably harnesses the power of the 10 seikens Rekka, Nagare, Ikazuchi, Gekidou, Hayate, Suzune, Saikou, Kurayami, Noroshi, and Kaiji so it all fits well.

I wonder if Decade and ZX will be pissed at Saber for being another '10' Rider.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. I wouldn't mind too much if it was, but as we've seen before, having a brand spanking new suit, is par of the course for Rider. Still interesting that they're mixing it up a bit.

Also, it appears the name of Solomon's sword is Caladbolg, keeping up with the tradition of using swords from mythology names. (Unless someone already brought this up, in which case I'm stupid)

Huh, you know what, I just realized now that Cross Saber's helmet blade is actually differently shaped than regular Brave Dragon. Makes sense since he's using a new sword for the form.

Also, people keep saying that Cross Saber's visor changes shape for when he slides the hilt or something, and I don't know if that's true.

As expected, there was more to Cross Saber than a Brave Dragon repaint. A Crimson (Azure?) Dragon form and Dragon Lion Alangina.

There it is. That's awesome. Brilliant way to see old suits again. When was the last time final forms had auxiliary forms to this degree? Drive Type Tridoron would be the closest, but that's still quite different. Dragon Lion Alangina looks pretty fucking rad.

Anyways, still holding out for this Seiken to have its own WRB.

And just like that, Cross Saber has become one of the most interesting 'Final' Forms in Kamen Rider. Downside is that the helmet doesn't get the addons from the other WRB parts, but I suppose that's a minor sacrifice to make for this. Especially since they'd technically have to make new parts, like the helmet blade.

Hopefully when/if they create a unique WRB for Cross Saber, that they'll give him a new helmet.

Side note, I wonder how'll they'll handle the SHF for Cross Saber. Will they release the 'Brave Dragon' form as a regular release, while making the potential unique WRB form P-Bandai? Who knows, I'm just excited.

I'm really glad that we have two different forms lined up for Cross Saber, and possibly another? Though we don't see anything with King of Arthur.

That being said I was really hoping they'd utilize the fact that there is no required book for it to go buckwild and they did!

Also thanks to more high quality pics, there is actually one difference between Cross Saber and Brave Dragon's helmet, there's a few features on Cross that weren't present. Pretty sure there weren't spikes on the right side of the face before.

Kind of praying we see Cross Saber early lol. I doubt any of the Cross forms are retail, though. And I'm mostly expecting it to be an event exclusive while any one of the forms as P-Bandai.

I need a side profile of normal Saber Brave Dragon's helmet vs. Cross Saber Brave Dragon's helmet and see the difference between the blades (mostly if they're different in size or shape, since Rekka and the Jusaber aren't one-for-one the same).

I think the crazy part is, not only does it have the ability to utilize different forms, it also has the supposed visor swap when moving the swords hilt.

And we have no idea what that does... I think we might have one of the most versatile final forms on our hands folks.

I think this is just like, great, in regards to going back and saying "Hey the stuff you started with isn't getting left behind."

I'm starting to wonder if the whole reason all this stuff exists is so that they can sell repaints of the SO-DO as 'new forms'.

Can we get Kento a proper like upgrade? I could care less if it's a kitbash, just give the boy something so that he isn't bookless.
