Knowing how the Primitive Dragon WRB's hand covers the Brave Dragon WRB in the belt, I think this would be the only time in a Saber SHF that I wouldn't mind if the WRB in the belt was left unpainted.

I think they might give him a swappable shoulder plate for Lion Senki. Shouldn't be too hard, and to swap the book on his belt, too. Otherwise, I can see a Shining Assault situation where you can't remove the attached item.

I'm really excited for Primitive... It's a great suit and I honestly one of the few forms that were handled well enough despite having only shown five times. At least the Primitive Kid wasn't forgotten unlike Wazu :lol

Considering how the WRB pattern on Primitive Dragon also extends to the chest, I wouldn't get my hopes up too much for a swappable Lion Senki gimmick.

Of course, they could always have a swappable chest piece built into the figure, we'll just have to wait and see.

Oh right, I forgot it extends to the chest as well, that certainly makes things a lot more complicated. And I don't see Tamashii Nations going over what they with Geiz Revive's gimmick for a simple change on Primitive that only happened once.

I feel like that would be very difficult to do, unless the chest claw is removable. Like it's two layers of parts, like the chest claw has to be removed first, and then the WRB plate can be swapped.

If they don't include a swappable chest, I'm sure SHF Upgrade will make one lol

god that gimmick was so dumb and irrelevant it kinda irks me. the gimmick is literally ingrained into the design of the suit but it really didn't serve any purpose

I'm excited to see a giant third party claw though. I'm more attached to an unnamed cgi limb than the whole hazard-but-not-really gimmick they were going for

they make a lot of neat shit but I doubt it. the figure would have to be molded and designed to be opened - in which case they'd do the gimmick themselves anyways

figuarts torsos are generally not meant to be tampered with and afaik shfupgrade doesn't really deal with that. they'd essentially have to make an entire torso that can fit appropriately with the rest of the figure's body and expect their customers to be okay with ripping their primitive dragon figure apart just to represent a form shown off for 5 seconds

and on that note, good lord are the show's form changes needlessly complicated. they make for great designs but it basically means a lot of them will never see the light of day as figures

I mean, they were okay of you basically tearing apart Zero-One to do Flying Falcon :lol. Of which, on that note, I wonder how come they haven't done another set like that. Like, they're expensive, but I would absolutely shell out the money for something like Flaming Tiger or Ark-One. Full Cart Toys has one for Ark-One, but they're unpainted. That said, maybe I might grab that Flying Falcon kit just to try it out, when the time comes I feel like shelling P-Bandai money for a not-complete-figure lol. I do have a spare Zero-One body lying around.

Going back, I realize Primitive Dragon's slight reveal may be a sign that we're not seeing the Wonder Combos. And that saddens me because I kinda want Golden Alangina if not for the sole reason that it's basically a second chance at Espada and a chance at a silver-plated Ikazuchi.

I forgot the ridebook gimmick extends to the chest...I was just thinking of ways to add value to the release other than having hands and another rekka seiken but if it ends up being a regular release then the price shouldn't be bad. I am curious to see how the primitive ridebook turns out though since it has more molded parts than decals

The picture posted above of what looked to be a Seihou of Agito Burning and Shining form is just someone's custom which took the bottom half of I'm assuming two spare Agito ground form seihous and combined them with the top half of the original burning and shining form shfs.

Yikes to them modifying a now overpriced seihou in order to accomplish this task

But if I were to guess, if SHF Upgrade did make a set for Primitive, it'd be like their Decade Complete set that uses printed magnetic sheets to swap out all of the cards.

If TN makes a SHF Falchion, wouldn't that inevitably lead to them making a new blank Ghost body mold? Of which in turn leads to a possibility of SHF Shinobi?

But then I go back and remember that Falchion would need to be as tall as Saber, so a SHF Shinobi would mean he would be also taller than ZI-O.

I think that's trying to draw too many parallels between suit re-use and mold re-use. Especially when the suit re-use is that minor and so much is done on top of it it doesn't make a lot of sense

If they were to go down that rabbot-hole then easiest one they could do is Kamen Rider Quiz since the mold is 80-90% Ex-Aid suits but I know why you mentioned Shinobi because he's popular

I'm... Not entirely what to think here. There's a lot of ways and positions I can take. One, considering just how absolutely screwy China is over its people, it does make me feel less impatient about things a lot more, now that we know this is a thing happening. On the other, I feel like there's probably a better way of handling this that doesn't involve these mishaps over production.

But, like I said, considering how brutal China is, this is probably the best they could come up with. The idea of a self-sustaining country is pretty neato, but at the cost of outright refusing import prodcuts? Don't seem right. At least in m surface-level understanding.
