Huh, I checked mine, and it's true, there's no sculpt line. Somehow that both bothers me greatly and not mind at the same time.

I've always thought Seihou Kabuto's arms were a little on the short side (especially compared to the Figure-Rise standard kit), but now that I have Gatack, Gatack's arms look much more normal.

In edition, the silver paint on Gatack is much brighter compared to Kabuto. Have I had a knock-off figure this whole time? Or did Gatack come with general improvements over the Kabuto mold?

Definitely got improvements, plus Kabuto does not have any reported knockoffs. Known rider figuarts knockoffs have been:

Faiz, Kuuga (mighty, amazing mighty and ultimate Seihous), Cross-Z magma

Gatack did infact do minor changes to the base mold, yes. That said, both arm lengths are pretty "normal" really.

Please don’t say that Build Genius will get lottery release that wrong and it never happened with a final form rider before. With all this talk about the build line taking so long for Genius to come because it just a very popular line that’s all. I hope no one curse the line with the lottery talk because it giving me a panic attack and I already have a lot of Figuarts lines to worry about collecting as it is.

Little sad there's no gradients for his eye, but ok. Him not having much armor means he won't be hindered much in articulation, so that'll be cool.

Edit: Wait, his buckle's not glossy? Guess I'll fix that with a simple spray.

By the end, I wasn't the biggest fan of the character but I do love that ninja design. I don't plan to get too deep ino the Saber SHF's but maybe I can add Buster and Kenzan to go with Saber and Blades. And then I'm thinking Saber Draconic Knight to round it out. Haha.
