Aww I was hoping they would include the briefcase versions of the other weapons. The Rising Impact effect is very cool, but now I wish we could also get Jacking Break.

Even though shfupgrade already did that effect but I'm not complaining however like others have mentioned it would of been nice to see this come with the briefcase mode of the attache weapons or a progrise key holder with keys that open and close like what SHFUPGRADE did awhile back as well...

I want those so bad, but it's been so long since we've gotten monster villain SHFs.

I don't doubt 01 is popular in the west, but I don't see how that would factor into Preban SHFs

They're pushing Zero-One heavily via Team Rider Idk if it's because that's the merchandise Bandai or Toei is offering them mainly but we're getting a blu-ray release of the series, the RealXTime movie and in the past they streamed Reiwa the 1st Generation movie and we got a domestic release of both Zero-One and Vulcan figuarts via Bluefin...I know we got Saber and Blades as well too

Not trying to make a big deal out of it but just a few things I noticed oveeall because it does seem Zero-One has had a good reception in Japan.

My SHF Phoenix Phantom has a very, very loose shoulder that droops, and the proportions, while passable before, just looks odd when you look at newer SHFs.

Still doesn't really mean anything in terms of Premium Bandai. It's one thing if the official P-Bandai US website sold the SHFs, too, but they don't as far as I know.

Saber and Zero-One bikes are based on the same model bike, Honda CRF450L, so there's a high chance a Saber bike is also made with shared parts.

I was thinking. When Evil gets his SHF, I wonder how they'll do his elbows. He has these big cups that wrap around his elbow.

Do they break the sculpt entirely and just have the arm joint there, or they put the joint inside the cups and make said cups just soft plastic instead, though it might hinder his elbows.

The knees are fine since they don't really cover the back side of the knees and should be able to bend normally. It's the elbows that are interesting to think about.

Ask Toei. Most Riders these days either don't have bikes anymore or ride them for like 2 episodes. We all know why, no point in discussing Japanese road laws and production costs, but it's still a fact that the "Rider" part of Kamen Rider ain't that relevant anymore.

If we're talking Showa or Heisei Phase I then yeah, bikes are cool, but Heisei Phase II and Reiwa? No point in paying money for a bike that was barely ever featured in the show. Although Heisei Phase II ain't that bad, but still suffers from a lack of bike action, especially the more recent ones.

And yes, you're buying everything, I get it, but for me most bikes are not worth owning.

Interesting. Haven't really looked at Evil closely enough to notice. But Demon's right shoulder could be a problem with the tiny cape.

I think Demons is easy enough, at the cost of it looking awkward in some cases (suit accurate tho lol). Just pull an Espada and have the cloak be part of the shoulder pad as you move it around. Only that it's a lot shorter.

Funny thing is that W and Wizard got more bike action than most Heisei 1s! Fourze and OOO also weren't too bad about it; I'd say it's more Gaim onwards that there starts to be a dip. Though obviously Drive got a bit more than usual since his Rider Machine was a car.

It's a shame, really; I would have loved Build in particular to get more biking

At this point, the rider part of their name is there due to legacy. Road laws knee-capping the use of bikes can't suddenly mean that Toei's gonna change the name of the hero series that's been prevalent in Japan's entertainment history since the 70s into like...Kamen Fighter or Kamen Warrior. It's impossible to change this deep in.

I guess the "Rider" part still kind of works when belts are called "Driver", so it's about riders, but not the traditional vehicle rider if you know what I mean.

Funny enough, Gaim kinda sorta got around the whole "Rider" issue by calling them "Beat Riders"...as in they ride the beat...because they're (mostly) dancers.
