I always saw him and Blades in stock often. I think it's just the case of his stock not being in high demand.

Probably same for Trigger then. 01 and Z were both popular so it was hard to tell for those two, but I definitely welcome at least some SHFs being more available than "click pre-order in two milliseconds if you have a god-tier internet connection and you might get lucky"

I was there when pre-orders opened on AmiAmi and didn’t get one. Wasn’t feeling like hunting the figure down at other shops so I just quit. Don’t care much for Trigger so that worked out for me, but when I randomly saw it available today I bought one regardless, it’s inexpensive and enables me to continue the New Generation display so that’s something.

And – it could technically be a companion piece. I swear I’m setting myself up for disappointment hard but come on; they have to put Ribut up for pre-order this weekend. It makes too much sense.

I only pre-ordered Buster from Saber and figured the size difference would kind of work given the nature of his design, but that is much bigger than I expected.

Just a few examples but figuarts scales have fluctuated throughout the years for random characters such as the Wizard Infinity Style one being very small like 5.5in

This one is destroying me, my god... I've had a few Fourze SHFs beside ones like Build and Seihou Tajador so I knew they were small but this is something else

Can't find my Infinity Style figuart but honestly the various size scales aren't bad and to me none of them feel undersized or weird when handling them aside from what I said about Wizard Infinity. The Saber figuarts feel great in-hand and didn't notice the scale increase until people started pointed it out when they released but I feel the most important thing in the evolution of figuarts is them getting the proportions correct

Finally watched the review of the lucky draw clear variant figuarts and am very surprised at the amount of paint they removed/left unpainted from the original version of each figuart that it's hard to overlook

Saikou looks absolutely mesmerizing with that entire silver body coupled with the glossy comic stencils around him.

Saber Figuarts has been a mixed bag for me so far. I don't own any but I feel like some suits look better as, well, suits (e.g. Saber, Blades and Espada) while some look better as toys (e.g. Calibur, Saikou). It's a strange feeling.

It's probably my Saber love showing its rear head, but I feel like despite the shortcomings of the main trio (Grey swords and unpainted dragon parts for Saber), they've been the best non-seihou releases I've handled. I only have 3 so far, Blades, Saber, and Dragonic, but I really love all three and only had minor qualms about them that I fixed up right away.

The proportions are 90% on-point to the show, it wasn't like Zero-One where I felt like Zero-One himself was kinda skinny, or Vulcan Shooting's metallic blue wasn't metallic enough, I never felt those. My only gripe would be that Blades has to be shorter and bulkier than Saber to match Eitoku but that's neither here or there. Sure, Saber and Blades' colors are unpainted, but they're glossy anyway and look fine enough to the point when I painted Saber's dragon head it barely looked any different. Oh yeah, Dragonic is still a treat to look at.

I can tell you for sure having Saber in-hand that he looks beautiful annd vibrant in person especially after taking a hard look at him yesterday...if you happen to find him a very cheap price you would not be disappointed despite some of the short comings in paint

Oh, in fact; given the increased height -- how do Saber SHFs look next to Figure-Rise Standard Kamen Riders and Lightning Collection figures?

Jealous of you having Dragonic Knight because indeed all the photos I see of him is just beautiful and he stands out...at least I have my Jaou Dragon preorder to look forward to since I have a feeling it's gonna be a beauty as well...maybe then I'll look to get Dragonic Knight since his price is dropping a bit

Not denying that Saber is an absolutely beautiful Figuart but I prefer seeing his suit to the toy.

customisers work so fast...

The scale varies with lightning collection as well because the older wave figures had issues with the helmets sitting too low on the neck but I started noticing with the Dino Thunder blue wave that the helmets started sitting higher probably due to them realizing they drill too deep of hole which caused the original issues.
