Well, it's not exactly a pipe dream. Magnamon, one of the Royal Knights, is an Armor Digimon, who's treated as a Champion level character with the power of an Ultimate (Or Mega, depending on the circumstances), so perhaps if we get him, it could open the floodgates for other such characters at that level...

Now Magnamon is someone I can really get excited about, he's probably my all-time favorite form of Veemon. I'm surprised to see Bandai move away from the Royal Knights releases, but I think it was a good move for now. There are a lot of Champion Digimon in particular that are more than popular enough to deserve figures.

And here I am, just hoping for Figuarts G Red...

True, he just reminds me a lot of GaoGaiGar. I hope the line merging does open up some new possibilities.

I think the most glaring problem with Champion characters is design. Looking at the Adventure cast, the only ones that seem viable for articulated releases are Angemon and Garurumon. The rest are either just not really viable (Though, Greymon and Kabuterimon would make badass MonsterArts :lol).
Though, Ikakkumon would make a pretty good Zero... *Note: While, from a design standpoint, Gatomon would make a fine Champion level character to release, it would just seem a little odd, since the house cat character is now the size of Imperialdramon. OMG G-RED COULD BE IN 1:1 SCALE! I WANT IT :lol |

I was definitely thinking along the lines of Devimon, Angemon, Garurumon, Leomon, and various others from the other seasons. It would be somewhat limited, but there are some great choices among those. Then you have some great Ultimate characters as well. I would love some MonsterArts Digimon releases. It would be awesome, even if the scale was wonky, to have a full evolutionary line for a single character. Like Agumon.

Bluefin will be distributing Imperialdramon Fighter.
