So they chose a class of kit and everyone just picked what they wanted to build? That's cool but I was under the assumption we'd all do the same kit and put our own spins on it. And it doesn't look like anyone posted any sort of progress pics either.

Yeah, a size class or a theme is typically how they do it.

I have seen people post WIPs during a group build, but we can probably post what we're working on and how far we are in that build process in whatever thread we set up.

They're a great way for people to see you're work and get feedback on it.

Maybe we should all agree on a theme first?

Though it seems pretty unanimous that everyone wants to do HG kits.

But I think HG kits would be the most affordable and easy thing for all of us. There are some fairly cheap MG's out there too but HG's would be more readily available.

I'm fine with HGs as the general theme of the build.

So a few ground rules before I make the thread:

I need a show of hands to tell me how many people are gonna participate, also tell me what kit you'll be building.

I'm thinking it should be a kit that hasn't been snapped together yet, and people should take a picture of just the contents of the box and maybe the date just to show that it's a new kit.

As for the time frame…I'm thinking till the beginning of September seems long enough.

and I'll go buy the God Gundam from the HGUC line since i've been meaning to get him for over a year now and keep putting it off, gives me an excuse to buy him

I was going to buy a ton of Gunpla at SDCC, but I might be able to participate, depending on when(If I buy Gunpla I would rather do it at SDCC, but we'll see).
