Finally watching an episode of Fusion after quite a while and... ugh...

It's the first of the Heaven Zone/Sky Zone episodes and... bleh... The voice actor for Gargoylemon is mimicking Arnold Schwarzenegger and it's horrible. And then they renamed SlashAngemon into "SlushAngemon"... just... what?

I REALLY need to catch up with fusion.
Also they're bringing the cardgame back!? That's a new game i need to spend money on then. And that makes 4.

Oh thank god. For a second there, I thought Bandai was about to make a good decision. Phew.

I hate the Fusion designs, especially the redesigned mons. For every neat looking redesign like MetalGreymon, they fuck someone else up, like Beelzemon.

But Beelzemon looks cooler than he did in Tamers.

I don't know if you genuinely mean that or if you said that just to get under my skin. If the latter, it worked.

Beelzemon is supposed to be a demon, a fallen angel. Not some Eva 01 reject with wings.

Oh when you put it like that, yeah hi's old design makes a lot more sense.
I just like the armor look better to be honest.

Armor works when it makes sense (See the new MetalGreymon for that). But taking one design cue from the original design (The arm cannon from Blast Mode) and deciding to base the new look entirely off that is what gets to me.
A character by any other name and I'd agree with you that it looks fine, but by pasting Beelzemon's head to it and passing it off as the new Beelzemon is what draws my ire.

The Greymon line has had some great redesigns and alternate evolutions, to the point I consider the Adventure line the most boring one.

I kind of like Beelzebumon redesign tbh, or at the very least I like they didn't use the Tamers design again.
