Yep, actually now you mention it that did bother me, he definitely felt like he was going to be a big part of the Deboss.

And although not quite in the same fashion, the Deboss Generals have all now been defeated by the Kyoryuger by this point, eleven episodes in. And for Gold, well he beat them with relative ease.

The only member of the generals who still has any presence is Chaos but since Torin was holding his own against him, someone who isn't even a ranger, I don't even really know how strong Chaos is either.

Watched Maskman Episode 2, it was good. I hope it grows more later on, I like the villains and the suits want to learn more about the characters besides all the stuff with Red Mask.

Just finished watching episode 8 of Timeranger, the series is pretty good so far. Shame there isn't any more subbed episodes after 14 especially since I'm really enjoying Timeranger and I really like this series' team especially Yuuri and Shion and that while I heard it is technically subbed in its entirety by the group called RRR but from what also I heard, their subs are not all that accurate. :cry

Alright, let's get Super Hero Taisen out of the way. I liked it.

Currently I am watching Dairanger and I really enjoy it.

With all the controversy surrounding it I was expecting it to much worse, but it was fun and even suspenseful at times. Also, that ending song... just beautiful.

I skipped an entire season just to watch the Powerfull rangers episode of Akibarangers.

when i saw the way the two acted i was thinking "is this what the japanese think about power rangers?" it was just weird.

I needed some good after a week of Super MegaForce news. So I decided to rewatch Tensou Sentai Goseiger.

Because I can :lol

(Granted, if I could watch them for more than 3 episodes a week, I'd be done by now, but still, if it gets others to watch, it's fine with me!)

So we had a newer friend over for the first time today who is a big Kamen Rider fan, but wanted something to introduce her to Sentai. As such, we showed the first episode to both Gokaiger and CarRanger, the third episode to KakuRanger, and the 32nd episode to DaiRanger (one of my favorites, although, I was planning to show her the drunken tofu episode but my files for episodes 9-17 suddenly will not play). She is now hooked and wants to watch all of the Sentai series she can get her hands on like she does with Kamen Rider.

It took me until Gekiranger to find a Sentai I wanted to watch.

You know what, to hell with it. I'm re-watching Timeranger!

We would have shown her the Five Deadly Venoms intro episode, but the files will not work on my tv or BD player even though they worked on the BD player when they were first subbed.

I'm two episodes in that series, what did you think?

Okay, I'm getting back into Gekiranger with episode 37, the mandatory marriage interview episode. There was some good stuff with Rio and Mele, but the rest - I honestly just fastforwarded through the Ran plot. I can't stand marriage interview episodes and this one had every single cliche in the book - disapproving parent, bland prospective spouse, male team member dressing up as the girl's crazy fake boyfriends, parental change of heart... At least the previous episode was bad in an interesting way, this one was just boring outside of the villain stuff.

I still like this episode quite a bit. I like that the team makes a point of pleading for Ran to stay. And referencing the fact that she's their captain and they need her back.

I watched the Gokaiger vs Go-Busters movie and that was awesome =) Mainly because Go-Busters was my first Sentai I watched and love the characters in it. love Beet and Stag.

That was a great movie if for anything was the Buddyroids (think that's how you spell it) Also the idea for them to write a note was great, seems like Stag was a fan of Back to the Future lol

Watched Battle Fever J Episode 11. It was a solid episode good bits with the whole team which is good to see. I hope to see more development from the team though.

Watched GoGo Sentai Boukenger: The Movie. Really dug it. Nice to see all the Negatives make an apperance, and then the movie baddie, Muse, was a nice creation as well. The new Daitanken formation was very cool as well. The final form of Muse made me smile because I always like super-sized monsters ala Grunchor from Lost Galaxy or Magmavore from LSR. Awesome.

Very eager to finish this series up because I have really enjoyed it.

Weird for me the movie was mediocre at best. It just felt so slow until the fight scenes.

Up to episode 39 of Gekiranger. Three words:

Given how awful the Go-Buster cast is even in this movie (and how even more annoying the useless Buddyroids were), the movie actually turned out to be quite enjoyable. Probably the best team up movie since the Go-On/Geki movie.

Watched Bioman episode 5, that was an absolutely fantastic episode. I love Green Two such a great character so far.

UPDATE: Watched Sun Vulcan Episode 4, really nice episode with VulPanther and bits with all of them. Man Fuhrer Hell Saturn loves his women.

Say what you want about GekiRed, but a senshi who's the son of fucking Gavan is right in my book.

So I'm pretty close to finishing Gekiranger. Just two more episodes and movies.
