Storm's costume looks cheap and dumb. I get that it's the 80s and she's a kid, so it's gonna have Amazing Spiderman 1 syndrome of finding shit she has to make a costume but come on.
But Magneto's suit looks fantastic. |

I know its not Halle Berry, but that Storm looks cool. I wonder which horsemen she'll be.

Oh god. If these two turn out to be the writers of the new Spidey flick...

So, Hawkguy's run finally ended! A fact that might be a little bit diminished by the fact that All-New started before the current book even ended but oh well.
It was basically the best Hawkeye book ever, the story feels fresh, the cast is well developed, the art is exquisite and it's a run that will be really hard to top. For old fans of Clint, his character feel very different in the book, but if you've never cared much for Hawkeye this is the book to get. Quote:

Also, Winter Friends is still the greatest Hawkguy thing ever. :lolol |

Which is quite funny considering that his partner on Sex Criminals started working for them this year with Howard the Duck :lol |

And I have yet to get that book. |

Ant-Man - I walked into this movie with very low expectations considering it is Ant-Man and came out immensely impressed. It feels like watching the first Iron Man movie all over again. It was fun, had some really great character moments, and the action was well done. It didn't try to do too much, but it does have some flaws (specifically a relationship moment between Hank and his daughter). There are some down right hilarious pieces as the comedy was perfect. It is definitely worth its 8/10 stars. Finally, there are scenes during and after the credits, so don't go anywhere.

Working my way through the cosmic Marvel stuff and man its been a blast to read. Its a section of the Marvel Universe I never really explored but there is some great stuff in it.
So far I have read all of Abnett/Lannings Guardians run and War of Kings. Going to pick up Realm of Kings and The Thanos Imperative next. As well as saving up for the Annihilation and Annihilation Conquest omnibuses. Anyone here that has some other cosmic stuff to recommend that I should try and get? |

More Doom and our first clear look at the Thing. ... I don't agree with some of their design decisions. |

Also...Hope's haircut...the girl from Jurassic World has it too...is that style coming back or something? Not that I have a problem with it, if it is. Quote:

At least Ultimate Doom had a decent mask.

The movie mask looks okay to me, it's just the rest that it's weird. |
Guardians set arrived a little while ago. As a whole, they are pretty awesome and the paint apps are quite good for the most part. There is a little bleed through on Gamora, but nothing too bad.
Starlord - Pretty cool and I like his guns, but I do wish he came with an unhelmeted head. Gamora - This one is a mixed bag. The cloth cape she comes with is pointless and just looks bad over her body. Not really sure the point of it. The hooded head is pretty cool even though her cape doesn't really seem to stay on straight with this head. The unhooded head is excellent too. Unfortunately, something just seems off with the legs as if the legs attached at the tight swivel were a tad bigger than the leg pieces it connects too. I did not know she used a sword in the comics though, it is cool albeit a little too big. Drax - Great looking figure and I think I like the knives that stick in his boots more than the big ones that seem too big even for his hands. I do wish head had an opened not robot hand though and two gripping robot hands to hold his weapons in. Although, I'm not even sure why he has robot hands to begin with, but it must be in the comics. Rocket - Despite the obvious lack of leg articulation, he is great. I'm glad that his arms have full articulation and the assortment of guns rocks. It is just a shame that he can not seem to hold any of them properly. Groot - Just down right amazing. His face is terrifying and that really helps make him stand out. The little Groot in a pot is a neat accessory too. http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psrkjvioxy.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pshbakjb12.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pske6tk7vi.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psggth49yo.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8ggacfe5.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5eeewc2l.jpg |

It's just he had too much stuff going on, Ultimate versions were meant to streamline, Van Damme however ended up as Chupacabra Doom. |
