Jayden's Father handed him the Lion Folding Zord, before rushing off with into the remains of the burning city with the other Rangers. And it has been heavily implied in more than one episode. They'll tone down the assgrabs, but the violence? That won't be in it.

Remember: This isn't a season of just Gokaiger. It's some humanSentaipede (That will catch on!) of Gosei and Gokai, so the back stories for the Gokai's? Expect them toned down by Alot.

Which is a real shame. Luka had a really compelling backstory not being able to save her sister. Which led alot into her close relationship with Ahim. And Joe's whole Barizorg is his long lost friend Sid-Sempai. Which I really enjoyed.

That's one problem I have with MMPR since it's inception. Which don't really get these deep backstories often, and some seasons not at all. Aside from Andros/Karone, which I think was the last I really enjoyed. The rest have all been surface-backstories that were never really explored. The only reason Samurai has any kind of backstory is because it's a direct-rip of Shinkenger.

I think that might be why Dragon Knight failed to. Aside from budget concerns, of course. The Backstories of the Riders just weren't there. You know?

Eh, it's just Goseiger. As long as the Gokaiger's handled well, Goseiger could be glorified extras, or even Turbo 2.0 as far as I care. XD I'm generaly not one to give much of a crap about the sentai itself, though, because, well, Power Rangers tends to give its best when it's doing its own thing, really, even when it entirely jetissons the sentai- confer RPM, MMPR, Space, etc. Honestly fear of another DIRECT TRANSLATION SEASON has got me writing my fanon treatment for Power Rangers version of Gokaiger. (Aquitar and Billy, elements I know Saban will never touch with a ten foot pole again, are involved.)

That I agree with. Except the whole long lost sister storyline, that was a litte Space-ish. But the rest were flushed out nicely.

Okay Saban, I have a challenge for you.

Keep the Gosei Green storyline. And then bring him back as Barizorg for the Gokaiger portion.
