... Fudge. Yea, add Gokaiger to my list. Liked the show but the suits were bland as hell.

Gokaiger suits were awesome! If there's a fault, it's that they're very standard in design, but that's a big plus for me. Fits perfectly with the anniversary theme in my opinion.

Actually the reason I love Gokaiger as a whole is because of how standard it is. It just embodies Super Sentai without too many idiosyncracies. Weird of me, right?

You know, a lot of us don't see eye to eye on what makes a Sentai suit look good, but I'm pretty sure there's not a person here who wouldn't rate Miss America as the worst design in the franchise's history.

Worst single design, yes.
But to be honest, as a whole, I kinda like Battle Fever J's designs, especially Battle Japan and Battle France.

I think I'd rate Denjiman as a worse looking team, overall.

For a whole team, yeah I'd probably put Denjiman at the bottom, too. Maybe Goggle V as second worst. I actually agree on the Battle Fever designs, but Miss America... yeesh.

How? How does Gokaiger fit an Anniversary theme?

Miss America is the single worst thing ever anywhere. Ever.

TOP 5 SUIT DESIGN (TEAMS)
5. Kakurager. Some will consider Hurricanger better, but I don't like the Navy or Crimson, so Kakurager is the better overall team in my book.
4. Megaranger. While it's a technology theme it works better as a space theme.
3. Shinkenger. They got a samurai theme to work, that's reason enough. Helps that the suits look good too.
2. Zyuranger. I like dinos and this is still the best overall.
1. Gokaiger. Never has a theme been done so well. People that know nothing of Sentai or PR look at these and think "pirate."

TOP 5 SUIT DESIGN (INDIVIDUAL)
5. Signalman. I would've dropped out of PR during Turbo if it wasn't for him.
4. MagiShine. I like capes. Not those silly short ones like the rest of Magiranger has, but full one. The asymmetrical helmet helps too.
3. Black Knight BullBlack...Really? That's his Japanese name? Screw it, he's Magna Defender.
2. Ninjaman. Behold, the power of NINJA!

PS And yes, Miss America will forever be the ugliest Ranger. Nothing can top that.

Blade... really? Look. I love Mighty Morphin'. It's what started me into this mess in the first place. But those suits... The best overall? There's absolutely no detail on those things aside from random daimonds. The Armored Suits from the movie would've been better for the show, least they had detail. The Zyu suits though.. Sentai suits didn't start looking acceptable until Hurricane. Though Gao atleast had some detailing.

Oh, I was saying they fit because of how standard they are in their design. They don't have idiosyncrasies or innovations like colored visors (Timeranger), lack of belts (Gekiranger), capes (Magiranger), etc. It's like how the say the most attractive face in the world is also the most generic one.
