It's like me kicking down the door to the KR Decade appreciation club and expecting to not get pissed off from what I see and hear :lol |

In any other season of Power Rangers, I'd be forgiving and kind of non-chalant about production desicions. But in a 20th Anniversary season where the company APPROACHED the fans to hype it up? Taking an easy and cheap route seems "slap in the face", and to excuse people being upset as "omg whiny fans" is rather offensive and hypocritical.

Not that one is better than the other but are weaboos really so insecure that they have to ram their shows into peoples faces who are just trying to mind their own business? They are the internet equivalent of those callers who want to talk about Jesus. |

Everytime I watch any Sentai show on Youtube, there's always people bashing on Power Rangers and they always seem to feel the need to patronize anybody who loves PR regardless of its flaws as well as saying on how Super Sentai is far better than Power Rangers in almost everything despite of the fact there're two very separate franchises where one of the only things they have in common is the use of the action footage and that SS are not without their problems as well. Then again, this is the kind of thing I should expect out of a lot of Youtube commenters and I am a bit of an idiot for expecting some form of maturity from at least a little more than half of the people of that site. :/ Personally, I think that not everything in Super Sentai is better than Power Rangers. Hell, there are actually several things in where Power Rangers are, arguably, better than Super Sentai. This is kind of attitude that a lot of Sentai fans seem to have I wanted to avoid in having especially since Power Rangers actually played a huge part in my childhood and I still love this franchise even in this day and age and I have absolutely no regrets in having a season and a half on DVD nor having every season up until Megaforce, since it's currently ongoing, on Netflix instant viewing queue and you can be sure as hell that I'll watch the remaining episodes of Megaforce and all of Super Megaforce once they air and even if the episodes do end up being crappy nor is it even in the standards of their better seasons, it will not change my overall view of the franchise. |
