Being pretty and a cliche "tough girl" seem to help.

Both me and Sentai go into length about how great a character she is in her last battle.

I dont judge by character.I never said she was a bad character.Chip is just a better fighter.Everyone is judging Chip because he's the "goofball",yet we all seem to forget he did take on 2 of the enemy generals by himself,and held his ground.

It's true Gia hasn't had as many memorable battles yet but how much had Chip done in nine episodes?

I didn't know we were judging by nine episodes.Kinda unfair to other yellows then.I've been judging on full range of powers,even for megaforce.

Well that is all we have for Gia, is all I'm saying. So stuff like Chip taking on Generals is all well and good but Gia hasn't had that kind of chance yet. So it seems unfair on her, to knock her down a peg for something that took Chip like thirty episodes to arrive at.

I would judge on what comes later for Gosei/Gokai yellow but I don't know very much about either series, or sentai in general.

I just know Gia is a very strong character, who has some of the best characterisation and development out of any of the other members of the Megaforce cast so far. Although yes, that isn't saying much.

Gia is a cold-hearted bitch for 8 episodes and a good character for 1. That doesn't equal a good character at all. As well as her powers aren't even fully developed to even equal up to The Mystic Force Fully Developed powers.

That's it though.I'm not judging on character.I'm judging on who would be the best ranger for the job.Chip has shown courage,strength,and bravery.All things I'm looking for in a perfect team member.Not only that but he can fight.

I know Gia has only had nine episodes,and I do think she's a great character.The problem is the balancing issue.I think Megaforce should've been left out of the contest.Not cause I don't want them to win,but because it's unfair to them having only 9 episodes to go by for those who haven't watched Goseiger.And if we do count their full set of powers it's unfair to the other rangers cause Megaforce gets 2 series worth of powers then,Goseiger and Gokaiger.

I believe strength of character is just as important as strength as a Ranger. You've got to remember this is a team, the team has to work and gel as a unit and so simply having the heaviest hitters in every place doesn't mean the whole team will function as a unit. And I think Gia would be a worthy sword at Grayson's side, ready to pick up the slack when he can not, I cannot however, imagine Chip functioning at his side at all.

But yeah, I agree with everything else.

If you misconstrue her independence as cold, then that is your beef. She has still shown to be a much more competent Ranger in only nine episodes than Chip does in twice as much.

I can see Chip functioning at his side cause this would all be after their individual seasons.By the end of the series Chip not only grew stronger as a character,but as a ranger too.Oh and before you say you can't see him working alongside Grayson.............Joel Rawlings.That's all I gotta say bout that.
