The "no powers" thing is going to be dropped in Arrow for sure, especially if its true they plan to incorporate it into the DC cinematic universe as well.

yea and i don't like that move i like the Batman super movie move due to the fact i did not want another origin story of batman and have him come in MOS 2 to me was a good thing but inccoperated TV show characters to DCCU is bad hence why i miss smallville

The family drama got annoying real fast in Arrow. It's definitely the action and flashbacks that kept me interested.

Of course I feel it has a fantastic season finale as well, so I'm already hooked for the next season.

What's this about it being brought into the cinematic universe though..?

Yeah they really brought it together for the finale, which persuaded me to keep going with the show.

As for the cinematic universe, its all rumour and speculation at the moment but with the next season supposedly including the Flash and introducing superpowers to Arrow, people think that they might share the same universe rather than having two separate ones by the time Justice League rolls around.

Arrow was constantly CONSTANTLY hyped by everyone, so it took me by surprise that week by week they churned out some of the worst TV I have ever seen. I could only handle half of the first season before I'd had enough of that overhyped garbage.

I mean where do I start? The casting of Merlyn the Archer? How nearly every episode involved Thea throwing a tantrum and forgetting everything she learnt in the previous episode? The action scenes made for a budget of peanuts as the camera was thrust around in less shaky cam and more earthquake cam to hide you aren't actually seeing anything? The terrible pacing? Ollie and Laurel's non existent chemistry? Ollie's superhero complex, as he contradicted his moralistic bullshit by murdering every fucker who walked around a corner? Constant fan baiting to the comics, without ever really including anything for the comics fans in the show at all? That stupid Lost shit on the island? The pre school dialogue? The filler? The unnecessary side characters? The way it would portray police as villains?

I went in with almost no expectations, since I had only seen a trailer for it prior to watching the show. I liked it, and the season finale was great, but I think it would have served as a better show for the Spectre than Oliver Queen.

I really miss Stephanie Brown. She was an awesome Batgirl. :(

So... have any of you heard about the Justice League Dark film Guillermo del Toro is going to make? Because Guillermo del Toro of Pacific Rim and Kung Fu Panda 2 fame is making a Justice League Dark film.

What was up with everyone sending waffles and waffle mix to publishers?

Waffles are Stephanie's favorite food. Fans hoped that by sending some to publishers it would remind them that she was an interesting character who should have survived the reboot. So far it didn't work.

And I like Del Toro's work but I'm not going to be excited until there's a trailer or some more concrete details. The guy always appears to be working on at least four or five projects at once. He's also signed up for a remake of Frankenstein, a remake of The Haunted Mansion, that "Mountain of Madness" dream project is still attempting to get off the ground... and then maybe Hellboy 3 if things work out.
