I kinda like these Arms Change Figures. Only thing that bugs me a little are the giant pieces on their backs. I mean with bandais usual engineering they could easily add another hinge so the flaps could fold up a little more.

Acually I'm not sure they could, since the backs hold the helmets in place and have a big connector block on them preventing another hinge. Baron looks to have a hinge that let's his hang more naturally.

Yeah youre right. The giant block prevents them from folding up nicely. Kinda makes you wish bandai would have found another way to work in the helmet swap.

The only thing I could think of is attaching the helmet to the collar, thus making it imobile, or ruining the look of the front or sides by connecting it to a different piece.

Yeah with the current folding set up the only way to get the armor to look right would possibly be to make the helmet a non moving piece or just a removable piece that does not connect with the armor. Could also be possible that the whole backflap isnt such a big issue when you have the figures in hand.

Yeah, back flap doesn't bug me. Plus, these are supposed to be gimmick figures, so having the helemt not be able to pull of the full swapping trick woudn't have been as great. As it is it's a really well-done gimmick with figures that suffer minimally from it.

I just hope we get pics of that armour pack soon.

The back armor always bothered me, but I can't fight such an argument. :lol

The back armour would bother me more, as in at all, if it weren't for the fact that we'll obviously get Figuarts some day. These are just fun alternatives to tide of us over/fill in the cast.
