If that opening scene is even anything to do with these characters, that is. As theories on what Micchy saw has thrown all kinds of ideas around, including alternative dimensions and time travel. And as far as I'm aware there are no conformations anywhere as to what that scene relates to yet, right?

Urobutchi specifically said it's a possible future. Not necessarily the future that's going to happen. He admits the show will generally move towards that scene but that the players and setting will change. Which is what I'm saying. As far as the actual footage is concerned it is what it is. But we have no idea how much of that scenario will be intact by the end of the series.

Also, did anyone else notice that Gaim's reflection in the sponsor message is different? https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-v...Comparison.jpg |
Not the reflection thing again!

I think I got whip-lash from this episodes shift in tone from say, the last 17 episodes.
I mean, not every episode has been full on super serious, but this entire episode just seemed, well, silly (and not in a good way). "Hey guys, the whole city hates us so let's put on a dance show to make them like us!" Also, count me in with those that think that Bravo will be on his way out soon. That's two weeks in a row now that Gaim has completely stomped him. I would rather see him die than continue to degrade further into a slapstick charicature of his former bad-ass self. |
A light hearted episode like t his was after what a barrage we've gotten in the last few episodes.
Seeing the dance teams come together and overcoming Bravo's sabotage was pretty inspiring too. If this really is the last the show will touch upon the whole Beat Rider things I think it was a very nice end cap on it. Oh and Bravo stabbing himself with his own sword was the perfect Karma slap. |

Also yeah I hate how Bravo has become a backup villain for when the show doesn't want to actually advance the plot or the characters. |
