I have a question that always bugged me since I was a kid. What was the reason they changed from the Zeo to the Turbo powers? I never understood that as a kid and havent seen the show since then so was there anything at all except for we ran out of sentai footage?

They needed a new power to take on Divatox and the.. whatever that big lava guy was called, I just blanked on his name completely. And no, none of the Zeo Powers were destroyed. They just switched to Turbo. So somewhere out there is a hanger filled with weapons and zords that no one uses.

Well RJ built it. Casey summons it with his animal spirit power, then the final attack mode, Im gonna guess RJ designed it that way too look cool.

Makes sense, RJ has that sort of "laid-back badass" attitude about him.

Another question. In the few episodes of Samurai I watched it was said that the Power Rangers were active in "ancient Japan" but was there ever a reason given how they ended up in america?

Nope. That was the opening line before the intro, but I dont think it ever said how they got to America...
