Not gonna lie, I had flashbacks to Lerigot and the Turbo movie when I saw Keeper.

I just don't get why they couldn't use the Torin suit instead of that. I understand that Judd Lynn wants to make Dino Charge more Power Rangers than Super Sentai, but...seeing that design rubs me the wrong way. The terrible CGI T-Rex doesn't help either, but that's up for debate.

I do like Fury's voice, though. :)

I'm going with the notion that Torin WILL be used in some capacity. Remember, the scene here is evidently incomplete. Hypothetically speaking, what if the Keeper is responsible for PR Torin to either protect himself, protect the Rangers, or stop the evil like Fury? If they do leave him out though, then we'll just have to accept. Torin isn't the only Sentai character sliced from PR.

Actually, when I see new footage done for a Power Rangers series, it makes me giddy. The laziness that was Super MegaDumb was abhorrent. So I'm hopeful, even if it's a few episodes here and there, that the amount of original shot stuff will be more prevalent. The T-Rex isn't that bad, and I don't expect much out of Pre-Gabutyra.

Actually, I LOVE the voice actor they used for Fury, and for the Keeper. Quite epic. I will also miss Birdman, I mean Torin too. And several others.

And is it wrong that I wish they would have called Jason Narvy to do the voice for the Revolmorphers? Because that would be the bong.

Having more original stuff is nice but I feel like if something is already good then we should not throw it out. Torin fits well in the PR universe and they can adapt him easily. He does not have the same origin story as his Sentai counter part. He can still be a mentor to the team and still be different. I'm the type of people who thinks that we should adapt on what we should have and try to do something different with it that the Sentai version never did.

People want "originality" yet want saban to use Sentai as a base. Why not do what the Chinese and Phillipines are doing? create their own sentai with their own base material. like when saban did Mystic Knights of Tir na Bog

Because even though the best course of action would be to use the original Sentai series in the US, which is what we ultimately would love as fans, they can't, so the only way we can get Sentai series in the US is for someone (Haim Saban) to license the use of the footage and materials, modified for the US.

Where the issue is isn't about originality, it's about how good or bad the Sentai footage is mixed in. Sometimes it makes NO sense at all, and it becomes aggravating to the fans. So when there is an actual plot and good actors who can pull off translating a Japanese series into a Westernized one, then it makes us happy.
