I really don't get the MMPR fandom sometimes.

One minute they're all "we're sick of MMPR, give us something new!" Next thing you know they're like "Give us MMPR! We want more MMPR!"

Gotta love those double standards....

Accidentally voted for Dragon Zord just a minute ago. Misread the option. Saw "Mighty Morphin Dragon" and my mind didn't register green, and there wasn't a pic up yet. I smacked myself so hard afterwards. Trust me, I'll be sure to rectify the situation next time I vote. Which'll be in a few hours.

Honestly, I don't know what Megazord/Zord I would want to win. I love them all! I wish all the Zords could win, so Bandai can make Legacy versions out of them! Even though, all of us fans would go in some serious debt.

However, I got to wondering the other day about how Megazord Madness is going to play out once we know the Final 5 Megazords/Zords. I believe last year with the Ranger Madness, only the members on the Power Force received the exclusive Final 5 Ranger Keys? Correct me, because I know I'm probably wrong. But will it play out the same this year? Will us fans only be voting for something that we won't attain?

The cynical group of is here, and that's a rather large group I might add, will say yes. We're voting on things we'll never attain. They just do this shit just to see what the masses want, only to go "but this is what we're going to put out anyways" or "Mr. Frank felt like the polls were rigged because he didn't win, so we're putting his characters stuff out regardless of the fact that they lost" in the end. *shrugs* Now I am a JDF fan. But I also. Believe in such a thing as moderation and too much of a good thing. And we have had enough of JDF lately.

Problem is JDF sells to the general fans - which outnumber the fans on social media/message boards/twitter/etc. He's the most iconic and recognizable Ranger, more so than Austin St. John. It translates well in merchandise sales. It begs to reason that before we get a Zeo Megazord we could end up with a Red Zeo Battle Zord.

As this goes along the illogical choices are becoming more obvious - why is there so much MMPR and did we really need all the Dino Charge zords separate? Yes, it's because of apparent nostalgia in the former and most recent series in the later but they milk that stuff so hard I'm surprised it still works.

I'm not going to be voting anymore, since my favorite megazord, the Astro Megaship, is no longer in the running.
