Oren being effeminate and flamboyant doesn't necessarily make him gay. Him being all over Takatora, however, sorta does.

The character is pretty gay, the actor? Dude's wife was in the episode where Redue died.

I knew Metal (Oren's real name) was straight. I have my seen his wife, but I hear she's a looker.

He admired Takatora due to his fighting ability and dominance on the battlefield. As for his flamboyancy, that doesn't make him gay. He could have just been given an androgyny look because, why not.

You guys do know, absence of evidence does not equal evidence of absence, though, right? Unless a character volunteers any information about their orientation in some way (which Oren did, because seriously, Takatora) there literally isn't any way to say any character (or person, for that matter) is gay or straight or anything else.
