That passing of the torch moment from brother to brother, blue ranger to blue ranger is definitely the highlight for Power Morphicon 5.
It is a rare moment that does not happen often and sure made my day.

I legit cried when he was introduced. Like a big blubbering emotional baby. I am so happy for him, I'm happy for his brother, I'm happy they shared that moment, and I know he'll make an amazing Blue. Just like his brother. I still wish NS was a ToQger season instead, but this announcement makes me look forward to this season like nothing else.

Also, why the hell is there a ToQger villian introduced? They aren't going to do a Goseiger/Gokaiger mash-up season again are they? ... Please no...

Nah, probably not. I do however can envision the ToQger suits being a one-shot thing on par with how Masked Rider was used in MMPR S2. For example, maybe an episode where a child fan of the Ninja Steel Rangers creates his own rangers(ToQger) via doodle and they come to life by the bad guys only to end up helping them thus allowing Saban to use Ninnin vs ToQ footage.
Again, just a thought but one I think could happen if they do decide to ToQger it up a bit.

You mentioned Masked Rider and I instantly became terrified.

I'm thinking variety. The Ninja Steel villains are aliens so it makes sense to have a range of aesthetics rather than just use a bunch of obviously ancient Japan-inspired ones.

Don't get me wrong, I do not like that show as much as the next person.
But I think if they are to ever use ToQger stuff one-shots would be great.

Ninnin does have a few team up episodes where they get help from other sources, so it could fit in with the pattern, if they use those.

I dont expect the Red Aquitar Ranger to appear in civilian form but would love to see Pua return as Shane.

An additional possibility is getting someone else to play a denizen of Aquitar (Aurico possibly passing on the mantle to another). Given the increased imagination (after Super Megaforce), I wouldn't pass on the possibility of them reproducing the head props from Mighty Morphin' and Zeo.

The sad element is them doing the same with Shane. Saban and the "Disney Era" people don't seem to be the most friendly, but someone could still extend an olive branch...

All things considered, I don't really know what to expect on this end. Not sure if the Nekomata Youkai centered alongside that team-up is even suitable (a clock that always shows 7:30, the time for new Sentai episodes). I'd like to think that with the game show aspect, the Ninja Reds will be "extra players" who have been forced into it.

Real talk: I hope they ditch the stupid props for the Aquitian rangers. If Aurico or his successor or something returns, I hope they appear as normal. They were too dumb looking, even back then, and I hated the distortion effect they put on their voices.
