Got myself an early Christmas present. You won’t believe how glad I am to finally own this movie, hunting down bootlegs or paying ridiculous prices for the old (but shitty) release were my only options so far.

And yes, they called Mechagodzilla "King Kong" in Germany. They really did. Same with Jet Jaguar, but that and the whole "Frankenstein"-deal with these movies are stories for another day.

That book is awesome, isn't it? It makes me long for that Lotto win to go Robo shopping!

It's a nice update to 35, but I was hoping for more info on rare or lucky draw figures.. maybe concept drawings like my TF, Machine Robo, or Brave/Eldoran books. I guess for the first 2, there was nothing else not already covered by 35 (though neither book ever mentions the black & metallic purple Magi King lucky draw that I've seen pictures for).

My other complaint is now I don't know what to do with my copy of 35.

It really is. I'll probably never own a lot of these toys so having such a nice compendium of them really makes up for it.

How's your Revan? Mine's got some horrendous QC with a super loose waist. Hope it's just a lemon and not common though.

I dunno, mine has some loose hips as well, especially in the right leg. I have to really work to get him to not only stand without some droopy legs but to even stay standing up.
