HoOh Soldier looks like a trooper-type Ranger than a full Ranger. Also, really? Yet another power up for Red? Well considering that Daigo is pretty much the most beloved and the greatest Ranger of all time every subsequent Reds must have their own power ups while neglecting other members isn't it?

Wow I didn't know it was that many teams that had upgrade. Also you forgot to include the Kyoryugers armed on since it an upgrade for the core 5.

The Kyu of Kyuranger got all the focus of.... 7 episodes and now we're going into Juniranger, but not for a little bit of course. RyuCommander and Ho-Oh Soldier are my favorites at the moment. I feel like Pega could be used by the others, so Red only has two separate power-ups, which is boring.

The show still feels like a jumbled mess and no one is really getting time to shine. Hammy and Spada tell you their backstories in an episode each, but we don't see anything (at least for Hammy, I am an episode or two behind). Second and fourth episodes are probably the better of the series, right now. Ex-Aid took like... 20 something episodes to really hammer out; can that happen to Kyuranger faster?

You know what'd be neat?
If there were additional Kyutama that could form power ups like Mr. Pega.
They all don't have to be sentient, but what would make them special is that it would be a different Kyutama for each member.

That way, even when Lucky is going on his 13th special upgrade, everyone else would still have their special armor upgrade to call their own, too.

I blame the budget. :lolol
But yeah I think if they can somehow find a way to be resourceful and give the others power ups too that would be nice.

Honestly, if the budget can fit in 3 more rangers in addition to another suit for Lucky, then I think they need to reevaluate it, because this is ridiculous.
I don't think it'd be so extreme to make 8 more special armor pieces for the other rangers.

Don't forget that their budget also includes two of each mecha for arm and leg mode.

So rather then being a sixth ranger, is Ryu Commander is more like Hurricanger's Gouraiger? Kind of apart of the team but also kind of not at the same time? Actually, he sounds just like Deka Master if he had a unique changer...

Maybe they should rename Super Sentai as Red & Cannon Fodders then lol. But seriously, having ultra focus on Red is tiring.

Well the Kyoryugers didn't really count, since Armed On mostly acts as their access to their personal weapons.

My my, the scans said Orion form is basically ShishiRed's Kiwami Arms (by utilizing other Kyurangers' powers). Way to go........

I still think Ryu Commander is the team's Deka Master aka not a proper '6th' Ranger, but HoOh Soldier doesn't seem to be the 'DekaBreak' of the team for me. Maybe he is, who knows.
