Totally calling it, So when or if eventually Hasbro/Nick screws up Power Rangers like Disney did and the hype is gone for the general audience. Who else is thinking Haim Saban's buying it back for a dirt cheap?! Give it 10 years? Obviously I don't want Saban buying it back, as Neo-Saban era is painful to watch. If Hasbro is serious about the 'great storytelling', they better step up and have the writers watch the entire sentai series and movie like Kyle Higgins when he watch MMPR before doing the comics. They should also rid of the Super season, and return to one series format a year, I know its Nick's issue but make an exception for PR.

Beast Morphers could most certainly be the final live action series, for a whole host of reasons not limited to the above. I have it on fairly good authority that Toei aren't giving Saban Brands (and now Hasbro) the rights to any new Super Sentai material. They can only adapt the stuff they already licensed in the past. So Hasbro Studios will have to announce some sort of animated series. I fully expect the Nickelodeon deal to be bought out too, so they have control over a better deal. Anyways, I reckon the next big Hasbro announcement is going to be their acquisition of IDW, and buyout of Machinima from Warner Bros. |
